Y/N POV - I was working with the Med Jacks I have been here for less than a week but I have a crush on Newt the second command. He was the first person I saw coming out of the box and he took me on the tour and he has been a good friend ever since but I want to be more then friends. I was finished pretty much with the basic things to be a Med Jack so I decided to go get some lunch. I said good bye to Jeff and Clint then I was on my way.
I got to the kitchen and I saw Minho and Newt sitting there so I waved at them.
Minho - Hey Y/N!
Y/N - Hey Minho!
Newt - Come sit!
Y/N - Ok!
I went over to the table and sat Next to Newt and he smiled at me. He looked quite nervous too he kept twiddling his thumbs and his head was down.
Y/N - You ok Newt? You seem nervous.
Newt - I'm fine but can I talk to you for a sec?
Y/N - Sure!
Minho and Newt both exchanged glances then Minho gave him a thumbs up before he got up and left the table.
Y/N - Why did Minho leave?
Newt - He had some mapping to do.
Y/N - Oh. So what did you want to talk about?
Newt took a deep breath and grabbed both of my hands and I turned to face him.
Newt - OK so I --
Thomas - Hey Newt I wanted to talk to you about --
Newt - Can it wait? I'm in the middle of something *he gestured towards me*
Thomas - OK *he ran in the other direction.*
Newt - Ok as I was saying I --
Fry Pan - Hey Newt?
Newt - Yes Fry Pan *he said in an annoyed tone*
Y/N - if this isn't the best time I'll just leave. * I stood up*
Newt - It's a perfect time if it weren't for all the bloody interuptions *he said between gritted teeth*
Fry Pan - Newt I really need help with --
Newt - That's it! I am sick and tired of all the disractions! Y/N I was trying to tell you that will you be my girlfriend?!
Automatically all the gladers turned around to see what was going on.
Y/N - Yes! *I smiled*
All the gladers cheered and patted Newt on the back and hugged me and saying things like good job or get some.
Newt - Thank god! *he brushed imaginary sweat off his forehead *
Y/N - *I giggled *
Newt kissed me then all the gladers cheered for us again.
Newt put his forehead on mine.
Newt - Hello girlfriend *he smirked*
Y/N - Hello boyfriend *I winked*
