Day 9

The helicopters landed in Germany just the previous night. (C/N) is a small country that's snug between Italy and Germany. What's unfortunate, was that (City) is only fifteen miles from the borders of Germany. This was an outwitted move when (C/N) moved their capital to (City) during the world wars closer to Germany. So that if the Axis ever tried to bomb her precious capital, they would have been harming Germany as well. But now, that only spells disaster as the undead are sure to begin their rampage to Germany next.

The thought worried Germany. He doesn't wish to take any actions against his closest allies, but his citizens were at risk. He shamefully knew his doctors were nowhere near as advanced as (C/N)'s. (C/N) takes the cake for medical research and technology. And even though (C/N) trades most of their technology with Germany, that's still pretty limited to what (C/N) actually has.

Medicine was openly traded with other countries, so long as they weren't at war with each other. Although, only certain technologies were allowed to be traded with other countries, despite negotiations. It was a struggle for Germany to get what he was limited to, but he was fortunate. He does have the widest range of technology imported from (C/N).

This was a precautionary measure, said (Y/N). 'I wouldn't give away all my cards at hand should there be a threat.' That was just one of the things that always Germany never quite understood. She always seems to be suspicious of others who kept them at arm's length.

That night on the rooftop was the closest he's been to her in a long time. A crack of a smile dotted his features with that thought in mind. That was until he remembered the current situation.

(Y/N) was nowhere to be seen. What was left at the base they were at was nothing more than a pile of flaming ash. Even after a platoon of men was sent, they couldn't find anything. China's men did find America and managed to pull out (Ethnic) officials, but the rest were lost. Many rejoiced over who survived, while others grew pity towards those who did not. The countries wouldn't be completely dead, but there was still some pain felt behind the horrors of what's going on.

Prussia was still missing too. Germany was hoping that they were just in another helicopter but was disappointed after checking every helicopter that landed. Germany knows that the two wouldn't be killed off so easily, but he still worried for them. His only hope was that they both made it out in time and are together at the moment.

His men were searching the areas in between his border and (City) currently. Hoping that the two were just lost and making their way over as we speak. Other countries' soldiers were pressuring other surrounding areas.

No one dared to go home though. For once, they all agreed that the best way to control the virus was to contain it before it could reach their own. (Ethnic) citizens were already issues to leave (City)'s surrounding areas and close the countries borders.

There was another thing that worried them; No one could crack into the lab back at the base.

"Hey! Hey guys!" A familiar, yet obnoxious, a voice shouted from a distance. Germany cringed at the loudness in his voice. It was America. He had just arrived and already he was being loud and annoying. "What a headache." Germany thought.

A small white slip of, what looked like paper, in between America's fingers, he ran up to the remaining countries that were in the mists of working idoly with their men. "Guys." He painted once he was right in front of Japan. "You'll never guess what happened while I was with (Y/N)." Now that caught everyone's attention. The countries pulled away from their work to hear anything that related to the girl missing in action.

"You were with (Y/N)?" Japan asked. "During the meltdown?"

"Yeah, and after too," America answered. Only gaining further interest from the others. "At least before she went crazy and hit me over the head!"
