(Y/N) and the small girl arrived back to base just a little bit ago and was left to do as they pleased while (Y/N) waited for the specimen to be prepared for the examination. Until then, the girls have taken to rest in the scientist's second quarter. A small room within the base where (Y/N) will spend hours doing paperwork when not wanting to be disturbed by fellow scientists back at HUB. It even servers as the perfect place to store important (C/N) and personification documents. (Pic above)

"You will be staying in my room for the time being if that's alright? I wasn't expecting a guest so there are no free rooms for you to stay in, but if you insist on sleeping on your own then I shall see what I can do." (Y/N) stated to the little blonde girl sitting on the woman's bed while she clung to her stuffed bear.

"No miss this is good. Thank you very much." The young one peeped. Her voice was small and soft. It was a bit of a stretch to hear her, but (Y/N) paid no mind and tried her best anyways. It's not every day the world turns upside down and you're forced to run off with strangers now is it?

"You're very polite." (Y/N) pointed out while bending down to be face to face with the little girl and smiled. "Brave and polite."

A small blush made way to the young girl's cheeks while she buried her face into her fluffy companion. (Y/n) thought that her shyness was rather adorable and smiled. It reminded her of a certain someone she knows.

"My name's (Y/N), (L/N). You can call me (Y/N) though or anything you come up with. I'll more than likely respond." The young scientist introduced. "By the way, what do you call yourself?" She asked.

"J-Julie" She muttered. Still hiding her face into her bear as her cheeks become redder.

(Sorry if any of your names are Julie.)

"Julie huh?" (Y/N) repeated. Letting her name seep into her memory. She wouldn't want to forget the name of someone who I'm taking care of now, would she? "I like it. I think it really suits you."

"You really think so?" Julie questioned, shifting a bit from behind her bear to hide her ongoing blush.

"Uh-huh" (Y/N) agreed while taking a seat on the bed next to Julie and keeping eye contact. "It means rose. Roses are a beautiful flower but don't think for a second that they're delicate. Their thorns are not afraid to fight back, just like you. They're a tough flower." The older woman explained. This brought Julie to smile while her eyes became bigger and shown brighter within the dull lighting of the room. It brought reassurance that (Y/N) was able to make the young girl smile, Causing (Y/N)'s smile to never falter.

Before anything more could be said by either two, there was a knock at the door. "Ms. (C/N)," the voice called out from the other side. "The subject is ready to be inspected."

(Y/N) nodded. Understanding that she must leave now. Although normally, there would be some anger in the fact that many humans know that (Y/n) is a country, but for her, she never really cared about such name. "Why don't you get some rest, Julie? It's getting pretty late." (Y/N) suggested while ushering the smaller girl to get into bed. "You can use my bed for now."

The young girl nodded slowly as her eyes began to open and reopen slowly. It was pretty late after all. Most definitely past a young child's bedtime. She brought her little companion closer to herself as she let out a yawn. "Are you going to come back?" She asked while (Y/N) was tucking Julie into the covers.

(Y/N) laughed slightly at such an obvious question. "Of course I am you goof. Why wouldn't I?" She asked.

Julie, however, didn't say anything as she motioned towards (Y/N)'s injured hand. Reluctantly, (Y/N) caught on to her staring as she followed the younger one's gaze. "Oh, this?" She asked as she held up her half-healed hand. "Yeah, It'll be alright. I'm just a little different from normal people, but I'm figuring it out." She stated honestly.

Julia had a put on her face as if she were unsatisfied with her answer, but was too tired to question further, Julie nodded and relaxed more into the sheets. (Y/N), trying to be as comforting as she could, rubbed the tired girl's back a couple of times before getting up from her spot and making her way to the door. "Good night Julie. I'll be back before dawn. If there is anything you need feel free to ask. There are guards patrolling the area constantly so there's always someone around."

"Guards?" Julie piped up. "Who are you miss? You must be pretty special to have guards. Are you a princess?" She asked innocently. Her eyes began to sparkle almost at her last question as she waited for a reply in anticipation.

(Y/N) giggled again at Julie's childish antics before brushing some hair behind the young girl's ears. "Something like that I guess. I can tell you all about it another time. For now, though, you should get some sleep."

There was a gigantic smile that spread across Julie's small lips as she nodded vigorously in excitement. "Goodnight." Julies voiced as she tossed the covers back fully over herself like a kid on Christmas eve. The faster she went to sleep, the quicker she'd get her surprise.

(Y/n) was content with the silly girl as she began to make her way to her work and away from the girl.

With one final look from the doorway at the half-asleep girl, (Y/N) smiled softly at the adorable figure before shutting the door completely and making her way through the halls to the examination room.

As (Y/N) was walking down the halls she began to think about her bitten hand that Julie pointed out and held it up to look at it once more. She didn't think about it when in the heat f everything, but she did find her situation rather odd.

Within moments after watching a soldier or citizen get bitten they would begin to 'turn', as (Y/N) calls it, into the creatures that bit them. However (Y/N) was different. She didn't turn moments later nor was she becoming sick or anything for that matter. Her body was healing as if it were only a 'normal' wound she had accumulated through her timeline of wars and battles.

"How strange?" The nation muttered to herself. She was for sure to take a mental note to keep a note of that mystery. For now, however, she has some work to do.

Arriving at the door of the examination room where two other doctors awaited her arrival, (Y/N) was both excited while on edge to take a look at this strange virus/ creature attack thing. "Are we all ready?" She asked the two.

They nodded with certainty as they clung to their identical clipboards.

"Good. I want you both to not touch the specimen. You will be recording everything I say and handling any tissues I hand you, but only when they are secured in a test tube, understood?" Tha nation ordered the two.

They were confused by (Y/N)'s words. "But Mrs. (L/n), why would you not want our assistance?" The one to the right asked.  "The more hands and minds that are able to examine the specimens, the more precise reading we could get about this virus." The other spoke up.

At that, (Y/N) held up her half-heald hand before explaining motives. "The virus affects the human body within moments of contact. We have no clue how it spreads other than the method the virus uses to infect another host. I was unaffected by this method for reasons I am unsure about at the moment and wish to keep possible contamination at a minimum." She started as she put her hand down by her side once more before continuing. "I'd rather have you not company me at all, but I do need someone to record and keep track of any findings."

"You were bitten?!" One asked frantically.

"And didn't turn?!" The other questioned.

The girl nodded at their questions. "My hypothesis is that this is caused by my immortality for being a country." (Y/N) admitted.

The doctors didn't say a word for a moment as they wrote down this vital information.

Seeing as they've come to an agreement with her reasoning. (Y/N) made her way through the double doors of the examination room, preparing to fight this monstrous virus before it can spread to other nations.

'I can't let this virus spread' Was the only thought that repeated in (Y/N) mind. 'I won't let my mishap affect the others.'

AN: There we go another chapter so soon. What can I say I had a little time today and have been itching to write. Another one should be on the way shortly so hang in there.
