Chapter #4- Royalty

{panic, blood, bites, attacking people}

Quackity woke up still feeling a bit sick, but for the most part he felt refreshed. He pushed himself upright to find Sapnap below him. He smiled and decided to wake him with a bunch of kisses. It didn't take long for Sapnap to kiss back. Quackity smiled and pulled away.

"Quackity, come back." Sapnap was still mostly asleep.

"No we should go say hi to people instead of just steal a room all day." Quackity sat up and gently swatted at Sapnap's chest.

Sapnap opened his eyes slowly. "You know, we do have a private room." He smirked.

Quackity gave him a disapproving glance. "No temptations, we should talk to people. The king of the nest for example, if you want to stay here."

Sapnap sat up a bit more. "I would love to stay here, it's nice and I can learn more about Vampy things." Quackity laughed when Sapnap did wiggly fingers over the word 'Vampy.'

"Well then, let's go find Niki and get to the king." Quackity made grabby hands like a child would. Sapnap lifted Quackity into his arms and they headed out the door. Quackity curled into Sapnap's chest and listened to his husband's steady heartbeat. He smiled at the thought, his husband. Quackity closed his eyes and Sapnap wandered around the huge house looking for the girl they had met previously.

"Hi Sapnap and Quackity right?" A new person approached the pair.

Quackity quickly climbed out of his lover's arms. "Yea I'm Quackity." He reached a hand out and gave the new person a brief handshake. "Do you know where Niki is?"

"Oh yea, I'm Eret by the way. Niki and I work together in this place's kind of HR." Eret began to lead them away. "Niki is talking with a new vampire with the king right now actually."

"Oh perfect, we needed to talk to the king too." Sapnap grabbed Quackity's hand and they followed Eret down the stairs and into a new hallway.

Eventually they reached a large door. "Here, just through there. I'm sorry I can't go in with you, I have a list of people to check on today." With that Eret disappeared into a different room.

"So in here?" Sapnap said softly.

Quackity nodded and pushed the door open. Inside was something they never expected. There were five people in the room. Dream, Goerge, Niki, and 2 people who neither of them knew.

George turned around and Quackity gasped at the blood seeping down his arm into his torn sleeve. "What, Sapnap, Quackity. What the hell is happening?"

Dream turned around and jumped up pacing towards them. "Listen Sapnap, I don't know what is happening but George was attacked then that idiot," He pointed at the guy standing in the corner with black hair. "Pushed us into the road, almost killed us and brought us here."

Quackity wasn't listening. He was inspecting George. The injury was obviously a bite, and he recognized who it was by. "Sapnap, this is Schlatt. Look" He stretched out his arm and made the cut visible to the only human in the room, Dream.

"Holy shit, what the fuck?" Dream was losing his shit at this point.

"Quackity, are you sure?" Sapnap asked, pulling his husband close, mentally taking note of the name.

George was so out of it that he had barely been able to keep up with the conversation.

Niki took the slight silence to speak up. "Listen Quackity, you seem to know these two, the other two are BadBoyHalo, call him Bad or BBH, and Skeppy. Skeppy is the king, Bbh has been hunting down a serial sire for a while and got close but then accidentally pushed them into the street. You can probably figure out the rest."
