"My dear students, on 3rd period please gather around the auditorium. Thank you."
I pull my head up from the desk. Everyone was chattering about what debate competition was going to be held against another school.

I couldn't finish my assignment.

I pulled the schedule to see when will be the chemistry class. My eyes shone.
It was supposed to be on the 3rd period!
Yeah!
After meeting with that new guy Jarred, everything has started to go smoothly.

Could it....be a sign of destiny?

I quickly refrained myself before I could get any deeper.

"My brother is a nut!" Ashlyn scoffed.
-"Why?"
-"He neither is a jock or popular in this damn school! All he could do is bullshitting on rubbish things!"
-" Your brother is hot though" Her friend winked.

Their conversations were getting into my ears as they sat behind me...I mean few benches back but those benches were empty.

"Shut. Up" Ashlyn rolled her eyes.
Her friends laughed.

It was finally 3rd period!
My heart was racing as I kept approaching in the auditorium.

Will I get seats?

I will be so alone.....

But still it was better than that assignment thing. I got my seat in the middle row. One guy was sitting beside me. I was feeling nervous.
He probably didn't notice that there was a giant elephant beside him.

I crossed my fingers hoping for the best. Next seat was empty.
Should I shift to that seat?
I was unable to decide when everybody got up to welcome the chief guest.
I quickly stood up to do the same thing.

After that, we all took our seats.
"Excuse me?"
I looked at the guy standing beside the empty chair.
"Would you mind if I take a seat here?"

The whole universe fell on my head!

-" Uh...umm. Could you?"
He looked perplexed.

I continued, "I mean....are you sure you will be ok?"
-" That's what I am asking. Will you be ok if I seat beside you?"

I blinked.
"Yeah sure."

Now that was awkward, I was sitting between two guys.

"Ok, my dear students! Our debate competition is gonna start very shortly and before that I would like to introduce the two schools who are gonna take part in this contest. One is our school which is Redmary High School and another is Oceania High School. Please guys, let us have a big round for them!"

We all clapped.

This is gonna be long day...
