It's a sunny day (who would have guessed). The girls are on the way to school, then Zoe notices that she forgot her maths book at home.
Zoe: hey, I forgot my maths book at home! I'll go get it, I'll meet you at the school. Alma: okay! Don't be late! Zoe: I promise. Katie: see ya soon!
Zoe is on her way home to get her maths book but suddenly she notices that her part of the necklace has stopped sparkling. Zoe *thinking*: this is probably nothing serious...I can ask Alma later if she knows something.
Zoe pick up her maths book and ran to school.
The school day is just about to start.
Zoe: hey guys! Wait for me! *waves to the others* Katie: finally! Alma: what took you so long? The teacher: okay students. Let's start the day with math. Open your books at page 57. Zoe: *whispers to Alma who's sitting in front of her* I'll explain everything later.
After school.
The girls went to a park near their school and now they're just talking there about random things. (They're sitting on a blanket on the grass).
Alma: so why did it take you so long this morning. Zoe: it's just so weird. Katie: tell us! Zoe: fine...so when I went home to get my book, I noticed that my part of the necklace doesn't sparkle anymore. And then... Katie: that's true! It doesn't sparkle, but why? Zoe: I have no idea why. Alma: and then...what happened then? Zoe: it was like my powers just bugged even though I didn't use them they just did what they wanted. It was like a bug but like...inside of me. It was like a earthquake but inside of me. Katie: wow you're right, that sounds really weird! Alma: have this happened before? Zoe: no, and that is making this whole thing just more weird.
Zoe touches the ground with her hand and a earthquake and a storm occurs.
Katie: *yells* DID YOU JUST LAUNCH THIS ZOE!? Zoe: I DON'T KNOW, IT SEEMS LIKE THAT *yells back, a bit scared*. Alma: *yells* WE HAVE TO FIND THE SOLUTION TO THIS! TRY TO TAKE OFF THE NECKLACE! Zoe: OKAY!
Zoe tries to take off the necklace, but it's stuck. She starts worrying that her powers will be like this forever.
Zoe: GIRLS? *says worryingly*. *the earthquake stops* Katie: ARE YOU OKAY? Zoe: yes you can stop yelling! But guys...are you mad at me? What if my powers will be like this forever? *almost tears up* Alma: why would we be mad at you? This isn't your fault! And don't worry your powers will not be like this forever. Zoe: how do you know!? Alma: because I just know! Trust me!. (She didn't actually know, she just wanted Zoe to calm down). Zoe: *says sadly* I want to go home... Katie: but Zoe? Zoe: I said I'm going home *walks home totally wet*. Alma: let her go Katie, she needs to be alone you know her. Katie: yeah, but I am worried. Alma: let's just go home and check on her tomorrow, okay? Katie: okay then...
Alma and Katie was walking to their homes.
Alma: see ya tomorrow Katie! Katie: yeah, bye!
Alma went home but Katie...she went to Zoe's place.
*(Katie) Knocks on Zoe's door* Zoe: not now mom! Katie: it's me Katie... Zoe: Katie? What are you doing here? Come in. Katie: *closes door carefully and says softly* hey girl...I just wanted to make sure you're okay. Zoe: I'm fine! You don't have to bother your mind with my well-being! Katie: *motherly tone* but I want to! You really mean much to me. I have known you and Alma like since we were born, ya know that's a lot of years, I don't want you to be sad, if you're sad then I am. I wouldn't be here now if I wouldn't care. Zoe: *almost tearing up* thank you. *hugs Katie* I love you (in a friendly way yet). Katie: I love you too (in a friendly way yet). Okay but I will leave you alone now *puts a little smile on her face*. Zoe: *says shyly* n-...n-...no don't go yet...could you s-...stay overnight? I'm a bit scared something would happen, and I feel safer if I'm with you. Katie: okay, I can stay. Should I call Alma? Zoe: let her sleep, keep her out of this... Katie: but why? Zoe: no...because...JUST BECAUSE!...she will probably understand. Katie: okay fine!
(You probably already know but the real reason why Zoe don't want Alma to come, it's because she wants to spend time with just Katie...her tiny crush and Katie also wants to spend time with just Zoe, but she's asking because she didn't want it to be too obvious).
Zoe and Katie sleeps in Zoe's bed and they don't realise but they are holding hands while they sleep.
Morning. Zoe wakes up and realises that she is holding Katie's hand, she blushes a little and look at the hands like *aw*. She notices that Katie is just about to wake up and she takes her hand off very quickly.
Zoe: morning Katie! Thanks for staying overnight. I appreciate it. Katie: *says half-sleepy* no problem...anything for you. Zoe smiles.
A little while later.
Someone knocks on Zoe's door.
Zoe: come in! Alma: hey. Zoe: *says happily and a bit loud* WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE SO EARLY!? Alma: uhm...is that Katie? Has she been here the whole night? Have you guys had a sleepover without me? Zoe: ehheh...it's not what it looks like... Katie: *wakes up (totally)* Aah ALMA what are YOU doing here!? Alma: why is everyone so surprised THAT I AM HERE? Zoe: it's just...we just....nothing...just forget. Alma: anyway the reason why I am here is because I wanted to check up on you Zoe, how are you? You seemed so sad yesterday... Zoe: I know...sorry for that. I'm fine, I was just a little tired and worried about my powers. Katie: speaking of that, LOOK! *points on Zoe's necklace*. Zoe: what? Alma: IT SPARKLING AGAIN! Zoe: oh my goodness! That's true! Alma: see I told you everything will be fine. Zoe: thank you guys for taking care of me, you are real friends. I love you two. *group hug*.
The girls just went to the park again and then Zoe sees something really weird on the ground. It's something that looks like a leaf with a face and some kind of paws. She took it home and it turns out that it's a kind of a fairy/animal that is combined to her powers. It was sleeping but now she's waking up in Zoe's hand.
Zoe: *softly* hey buddy, how are you...and what are you. The "leaf": *tiny voice* hi Zoe! I'm Leafie-Wy but you can call me Leafy. I am your Sparkle Guardian. Zoe: *chuckles* hey Leafy. Wow I didn't know we had guardians. Leafy: Alma and Katie has one too! Zoe: really? *suprised* Leafy: yeah.
Zoe and Leafy chat with each other the rest of the day and now they have to go to sleep.
