WHAT I DIDNT REALIZE PEOPLE LIKED THIS THANK YOU I LOVE YOU

Y/N-

My classes felt longer than usual, dragging out to the point where I was told multiple times to focus by the teachers in all of my classes. Lila had finally returned to school after her "sick" week. I continued to sit with Adrien and his friends, and didn't talk to Lila when we walked home. It was awkward and it disappointed me knowing how close we used to be. Until she'd turned into a massive liar. Since her last lie to me about Adrien's friends, she'd barely apologized and didn't try to make it up to me.

In the past few weeks, there had been a lot more Akuma attacks, meaning it was becoming more and more likely that Chat Noir wouldn't show up on my balcony each night. There came a point when I stopped expecting him.

School work grew rough and heavy, leading to late nights and no sleep. The days began to repeat themselves, the same things happening everyday.

I walked up the school steps, prepared for the same typical day.

"Y/N!" someone panted, running up to me. "You won't believe this!"

It was Marinette, red-faced and out of breath from running. She had a huge smile on her face.

"I got a date!"

I blinked, processing her words, and then a smile appeared on my face, almost matching the width of hers, "Tell me everything,"

As if a speech had been prepared, Marinette launched into a story about a boy called Luka and how was "everything she'd ever ever ever want" and how he'd invited her to the movies. Her enthusiasm was contagious and I spent the rest of the morning pestering her with questions about the oh-so-charming Luka Couffaine, which she gladly answered.

By the time lunch arrived, Mari had gone from just telling me to telling everyone at our table, her enthusiasm once again spreading like a disease.

"We should go on a double dinner date some time!" Alya said, her brown eyes sparkling. "But with all of us!"

"You're really gonna let me sixth wheel like that?" I asked with a playful smirk.

To which she responded with a side glance at me, "Of course not. You'll be with Adrien."

The smirk on my face slid off as I felt everyone's eyes carefully trained on me, including Adrien. My face heated and I tried to avoid eye contact with him, but gave into the temptation and snuck a glance at him. His green eyes were wide and his mouth small.

Ignoring the racing of my heart, I allowed the smirk to return to my face as I leaned towards him, "Well then, Adrien, wanna go on a triple date with me and everyone else? Only so we're not fifth wheeling, of course. As friends."

His cheeks tinted pink and he slightly nodded, his eyes still wide as he leaned back, "As frie... yeah. Yeah."

"Now that's settled," I turned away from Adrien, a satisfied look on my face, despite the thousands of butterflies in my stomach. Everyone was silent for a while, clearly shocked before Alya and Marinette shared a mischievous look before bursting into laughter.

I peeped at Adrien and he still looked visibly shocked. Briefly, I wondered why I had that affect on him, but I shook it off, more focused on the details of the date.

That afternoon, Lila spent our entire walk home talking on the phone. She walked a little away from me, clearly not wanting me to hear what she was talking about, but I managed to pick up that she was trying to arrange a tutor or a study time, I wasn't sure. The minute I entered my room, I dropped onto my bed and sighed contentedly. For reasons unbeknownst to me, it made me happier than I expected that I'd be going out on a date with Adrien. As friends. Of course...

I had been so caught up in my thoughts about one golden-haired boy that it took me a while to notice the another one standing on my balcony waiting for me to open the door. I made my way over to Chat, slightly confused.

"Look what the cat dragged in," I said as I opened the door, an eyebrow raised. "I haven't seen you in a while."

"I've been busy, darling," he said as he took my hand to bring his lips to. "You know I'd come if I could."

"Uh huh, and what would you be doing here?"

"You," he said quietly, and then his eyes widened as he realized what he'd just said. "I mean, coming to see you!"

I giggled as his red face, "It's okay, Chat, I get it."

He winked at me, "You'd like it too much if I did you."

Frowning, I went to close the door on his face, but he put a hand on it and apologized. My expression the same, I hesitantly let him into my room.

"You know, princess," Chat said. "I've never actually been in your room before."

He looked around and walked forward as I turned my back to close the door, "Don't touch anything."

Too late. By the time I turned around, he had already gotten comfortable on a beanbag in the corner of my room. Unamused, I walked over and kicked the side of it, startling him. "Off."

"Hey!" he got up and moved around.

I sat on my bed and watched him look at the things on my desk. He spotted my laptop and said with a smile, "Do you wanna watch a movie?"

"A superhero comes into my room to watch a movie," I smirked, holding out my hands for him to pass me my laptop.

I scooted over on the bed to make room for him and opened my laptop. "What do you wanna watch?"

Chat shrugged as he pulled my blankets towards him and wrapped them around him. I played the first movie that had been recommended for me and sent a glare at him.

"Those are my blankets, you can't hog them," I said, and grabbed onto them and pulled some towards me.

"Sharing is caring," he replied, and took the blankets back from me. I reached for them again, but before I could do anything, he put them over the both of us. I opened my mouth to say something, but he shushed me, "The movie's starting."

Not going to lie, it was a terrible movie. It was so incredibly boring that half way through, Chat fell asleep. He leaned on me slightly, his light breaths brushing against my cheek. His hand rested on my forearm and I squeezed it gently with my other hand, leaning my head on his shoulder. I felt a need to stay up and finish the movie, but it was getting later and I was tired. So, I drifted right off to sleep.
