IT'S 8:00 PM ON THE dot and pooh decides to fill up on gas on our way to an 8:30 pm dinner.

i guess it was partly my fault, i took a nap before getting ready and overslept.

pooh gets out of the car.

"stay here, i'ma put some money on the pump."

"k."

"you want some from the store while i'm up in there?"

"no."

he looks at me for a second. "how you function with them long ass nails?"

"it's not as hard as you think."

"mmm. ion like that."

"i don't give a damn what you like."

he chuckles and walks away.

probably after thirty seconds of pooh being away from the car, a boy approached my side of the car, causing me to hit the lock.

he stops and looks inside my window.

"aye excuse me, you got a boyfriend?"

i look at him.

"yea."

"you can't have friends?"

"nah."

"why not?"

"i don't want no friends right now, thank you though."

"just take my number down lil mama."

i was planning on taking his number and never texting him, whatever it took for him to get the fuck up out my face.

"what should i save it as?"

"boots."

"boots? make sure you don't forget to text me boots," he says, walking off toward his car.
