•The Light Camp, Hogwarts,•

Lavinia Hogwarts hummed as she leant her head back against Draco's shoulder, sitting between his legs on a picnic blanket beside the main firepit, feeling only the warmth of him against her-- she chose not to think of what had happened the last time they were in that position, instead choosing to focus only on him and how he always made her feel. To the right, she could make out the thousand White Warrior tents billowing in the low wind below the stars. Their camp had expanded above ground right the way to the Gryffindor Keep, more tents stretched there belonging to families in the Order who did not want to live below ground.

To the left was a centaur camp and between that and the cottage was a field set up for training. All around, the world was becoming one of war but oddly enough, it felt entirely peaceful-- this was her army and she felt a thrill of excitement at it. At the same time, however, it brought its own challenges. People looked to her whenever they needed anything at all, she'd been approached asked to bless White Warrior children and asked for autographs by new order members. She'd been asked to oversee centaur training sessions and lead defence classes for the Order, asked to give tips to the new classes of Warriors, asked to assess the dragons and see which would be useful for battle, asked to meet with Newt and his creatures to see what he had done and Lavinia hadn't denied a single one of the requests.

She was scattered thin but still, she managed to capture these moments with Draco. When people saw her between his arms, they turned away and decided to ask their query later. It was common knowledge throughout the camp that they were something special, something prophecised and perhaps they looked at her as though she was more human when she was with him.

Still, a thousand and fifty-seven mouths to feed and bodies to clothe, to wash. She was making an effort to slowly get to know all 1057 members of her army and she'd learned the names of maybe 100 hundred so far. Still, it was worth it, to know that she could give this protection to Hogwarts and the wizarding world.

"You are thinking so hard, you're starting to make my head hurt," Draco whispered into her ear, his breath tickling her throat and she leant back further, smiling when he shifted to allow her to, her head falling back onto his shoulder and he tilted his head to look at her, pressing a sloppy kiss right over her right eye until she giggled. "Soon, we will get out of here, we'll go and find this cauldron and have a holiday, how does that sound?" he chuckled and she beamed.

"That sounds sensational to me,"

"And to me," he promised, kissing her cheek now.

"Eww get a room," Ezekiel pouted as he plopped down next to them, his hair wet from a recent wash and his body shivering slightly in his fresh leather tunic. "Let me in, Kids," he tugged on the blanket around them and Draco quirked a brow. "Don't pretend you don't love me and need my body heat, Draco Dear, your lips are blue," he smirked and tugged the blanket around him, settling into the space beside Draco, their shoulders touching as he brought the blanket closed around him. There never seemed to be any kind of boundary between Draco and Ezekiel-- they had a certain unique relationship that Lavinia never even bothered to try and understand.

"So, Lavinia Dear One, Angel of my soul and light of my existence, what do you make of this Seran Bond thing? It's starting to get embarrassing around camp, people think you rejected my excellence," he pouted and Lavinia scoffed, tracing the silver scar on her palm-- it matched Draco's, a mark that showed their sire bond to their basilisks... Said snakes were currently in the shadows, swallowing birds and terrorising one another. They kept the spiders' away, at least.
