WARNING: SENSITIVE CONTENT-- I'LL PUT A MARKER WHERE IT IS SO YOU KNOW. :) HAPPY READING. I have genuinely no idea how this book became as impossibly mature as it is. I did not intend on the smut being so much but it just happened so I hope you all don't mind. If a lot of you are against it, I will try to put it down to a minimum in the future.

*Ezekiel's tent, a random clearing in a random forest,*

Lavinia Hogwarts sighed as she rounded a boulder-- and then proceeded to turn around and lead them back in the opposite direction. She had not expected the search for the cauldron to be easy but equally, she hadn't expected it to be quite so hard. She could feel it, sense its presence as though it was a glowing beacon summoning her blood though she could not find it. Lavinia doubted it was moving, that would require an advanced kind of spell that would not have been worth its own hassle. But still, she did not like being lost.

Draco had followed her for the past week, every morning they would awaken, bath and eat and then head on their hunt, not stopping to make camp until the sun dipped. No matter where she marched, he followed dutifully, never complaining when she crisscrossed through rivers and led to the ruining of his immaculate attire. He'd just followed, smiled and kept her company, talking about all things under the sun and her heart felt a little less strained when she saw that smile.

He made each and every unsuccessful worth it-- he made them seem wonderous, beautiful as though they had been the very best days all on their own. Sighing, watching the sky glow orange, a clear indicator that they were losing daylight hours again, she backtracked to his side and he smiled down at her, wrapping his arm around her shoulders.

"We will find it," he promised, kissing her temple and when he said that; she could not help but believe him. Draco made even the most impossible things seem possible. "Come on, Love, let's make camp early? Is that okay? We won't find it tonight," he urged and she nodded, contented. Deep down, she knew she would do anything he asked her but he knew that too-- and would never use it against her. Equally, she was sure he'd do anything she asked, but she did not ask impossible things of him. They were a team, a partnership, not an ownership and it melted her heart each and every time he offered her a choice. Lavinia had so rarely had choices in anything but Draco gave her them all.

Listening carefully, she easily managed to guide him through to a nearby clearing and smiled as he dropped the satchel, blinking up at her expectantly. He had not yet mastered putting the tent up with magic-- the one time he had tried, he had the canvas on inside out and the bath on the bed. Waving her hands, it assembled itself and Draco stretched, his back clicking satisfyingly as he led them in.

It had been so kind of Ezekiel to lend them his tent but both of them agreed that it was a bit sad to be in there without him. At least they knew he would be joining them soon enough-- Lavinia had not yet asked what the arrangements would be when he finally did. For now, being alone with Draco felt like a dream come true.

"Are you hungry?" Lavinia asked, unloading her weapons on to the table and Draco popped his head out from where he'd been in the bathing room, a white curtain the only thing that separated the two rooms. That had not become a problem... yet. Lavinia forced her expression to remain unwavering at the sight of his muscled shoulders exposed-- his shirt and cloak deposited on the table as he'd passed. He was too gloriously gorgeous for his own good, she was surprised they ever managed to get anything done while he looked like that, even more so-- she was surprised she'd accepted Pansy being near him for all that time without going feral.

She pushed that thought very carefully, hastily away before she could grow bitter and glib.

"Not yet," he made his way cautiously toward her, one foot in front of the other in a stalking fashion that had her stomach flipping in just its suggestion. "We've had a stressful day, Darling, a long day. You need to relax," he mused, coming to a stop directly in front of her. "I've run you a bath," it was perhaps the thing she had least expected him to say and she felt her eyes widen-- he chuckled, pressing an innocent kiss to the end of her nose and she giggled at the sensation. He always did the opposite of what she was expecting of him but she most certainly adored him for it.
