4 monthes later.....
I walked into Violet's house and I saw her sitting at the table. When she saw me she said,
"Come sit down and then we can talk to each other."
I sat down at the table and I said,
"Where are the others?"
"They are meeting traders that came to our village. Since I completely forgot to tell you about them they said I should stay here. I didn't want you to walk around the village and they accidently see you. They might think you're a monster and attack you!"
"Yep that would be extremely bad! Even if they found out I'm not actually evil they still won't take it to well. They might even still attack me. I have a very important question for you though."
"What is it?"
"Did you make sure they weren't pretending to be traders and they were actual bandits?"
"Yep before we even let them in the village we made sure with other villages that they were normal traders. Some villages have been trading with them for around five years. Why did you ask that?"
"You see I read something in a book about that. These traders tricked a whole village that they were their friends. After years of getting close to them they turned on that village and killed everyone there. It turned out that they were faking being nice that whole time."
"That's horrible! What happened to those fake traders?"
"Well it turns out that two people survived from that village so they got revenge on them."
"Well they totally deserved it, that village did nothing wrong!"
That's not exactly what happened in The Bloodwolfs but it was easier to explain it that way. Hopefully nothing bad happens. I have a feeling that something will go horribly wrong but maybe I'm just imagining things.
"I agree. I was super happy when I read those jerks died."
"It sounds like a fun book to read. What is it called?"
"I don't know. The title of the book was so complicated to remember. If I see it again I'll show it to you."
That was a total lie but I can't give her that book. I told her what my parents' names are. Once she puts two to two together she will totally figure it out that everything in that book is actually true. If that happens my parents would be so mad if they found out that I made a friend and even gave those books to them.
Violet then said,
"That makes sense. I wouldn't remember all the titles of the books I've read."
"Also make sure not to talk about how I am a demon when those traders are around them."
"I think anyone would have guessed not to do that. I don't get why they wouldn't like you though! You are so nice!"
"It's not about how nice I am it's more of how I look. Most people don't like anything different and stronger than them. They think I will kill them if they aren't careful! They would think I would be a threat to them and would try to kill me!"
"But you're not a threat! You helped me a lot!"
"I know I did but that won't change their opinions about me. They didn't get my help so they wouldn't care that I helped you. They would only care about themselves and how I didn't help them!"
"That's pretty selfish of them though!"
"Most people are selfish once you grow up you will see that a lot!"
"If you say so!"
"I haven't asked you this for a while but has the curse had any signs of coming back?"
"Nope, I haven't seen any changes so far."
"That's great news!"
"It's all thanks to you! If you never decided to stay as my friend I still wouldn't be able to talk to anyone."
"You don't have to keep thanking me! I've lost count how many times you did!"
Violet laughed and said,
"True but I just like to keep reminding you of how thankful I am even if I have to say it a million times!"
I sighed and said,
"Let's talk about something else!"
"Like what?"
"I never really asked you this question before because I kept forgetting to."
Violet chuckled and said,
"I'm not surprised. You are very forgetful!"
"Hey! You didn't have to say that! I already know that. You didn't have to tell me and make me feel even worse about it!"
"Well that's what I like about you! It makes me feel like I'm smarter than you. I have to keep reminding you of things!"
I groaned and said,
"That didn't make me feel any better about it!"
"Well at least I tried!"
"Let's get back to the question shall we?"
"Okay fine. It's more fun to tease you so I might have got carried away!"
I glared at her and said,
"I'm just going to ignore what you just said."
"Soooo what's the question?"
"If you would let me speak I would have told you already!"
Violet laughed and I sighed. I continues to say,
"The question is what is your favorite animal?"
"Are you serious? I thought the question would be more important than that! You were talking like it was!"
"No I really wasn't. You were the one who dragged it on that made it look way more important than it actually was!"
I could tell Violet I was thinking for a second and she said,
"Yep I guess you are actually right!"
I sighed and said,
"So are you going to answer the question or not?"
"Fine. My favorite animal is a wolf."
"Is that because I'm a werewolf?"
"Well that might be a part of it. But I also like how beautiful their fur is and how loyal they are to each other. The most favorite part about them is how they sound when they howl at the moon. What about you?"
"Well I'm glad I'm not the only reason you like wolves. I agree with you though that's why I love wolves too but they are actually not my favorite animal. I love snakes. They look so cool and they are so cute sometimes. I love how they could be dangerous and they sometimes are not. I love that they aren't that big but they still can put up a good fight if they want to!"
"I see why you like them but they aren't my favorite animals. Sometimes they can scare me!"
"Well most people don't like snakes. A lot of people have different opinions after all. I would love a snake as a pet though. It could be easy to take care of! It doesn't have to eat anything to big."
"I would love a wolf as a pet but I'm positive it would be to hard to take care of."
"That's true."
Violet looked out the window and said,
"Wow! It's that time already!? Time really goes fast when you are having fun."
"That's true. I'm guessing it's getting dark?"
"Yep! You should go. I don't want to worry your parents to much!"
"Sounds good! See you tomorrow. Before I leave though do you know if the traders are coming tomorrow?"
"No they aren't. I think they are coming on the same day next week though."
"Okay. I'll be more sneaky that day then! See you later!"
"Okay see you!"
I need to be careful from now on. I really don't want those traders to see me! That would be really bad. Even though she said they won't be coming tomorrow I'll still be careful. You never know something unexpected might happen!
