Chapter Twenty Three

It's already been one week without Korra and Asami was miserable. Her friends go on vacation but it was the fact that she didn't trust where Korra was. Or if she was anywhere near her uncle. She knows she's right and she hates that. Of course she didn't show it at school but at home she mainly just stayed in her room cuddled up to bubbles.

Asami thought about Korra bringing her to that abandoned park and writing their names. She clearly knew she was leaving that day. It made Asami over think a simple date for say. She didn't know how she wanted to spend her Saturday. Her father has kept her updated as much as he can about how to handle the abuse situation and she greatful for that. Although he is a very busy man he still makes time for this.

She was laying down like a starfish on her bed, keeping bubbles in one of her hands. Since the peluche was big she put Korra's hoody on it. Although Korra's hoodie was too big for it but she still thought it looked cute. She laid staring the ceiling and at the small designs. Her phone went off and she lazily grabbed it holding it above her face. She goes to press answer but it falls on her face.

"Ouch, fuck!" She said taking the phone off rubbing her nose. She heard the other person laughing on the phone. She put it on speaker and laid it next to her. "Laugh it off Wu, I think it broke my nose." She says rubbing her nose.

Wu- "That was hilarious as hell. Ooo I heard the collision on that one."

Asami- "You're an ass you know that? Anyways why are you disturbing me I was busy."

Wu-"Bitch no the hell you weren't you were lying your ass down doing nothing."

Asami-"How the hell?"

Wu-"Never lie to a gay we can easily detect your bullshit. Anyways so Opal slept over my place and I was thinking we can go on a adventure like the good ole days."

Asami-"You mean when we sneak into places we shouldn't and explore?"

Wu- "Yes exactly that! We haven't in a while, plus when you told us about that abandoned amusement park we wanted to explore more abandoned places. So you in? You can come over and sleep over so your father won't wonder why your out late."

Asami contemplates about it.

Asami- "Alright fine. When do you want me to come over?"

Wu-" well it's like eight right now and Opal is still sleeping so you can come here now. We can eat breakfast together."

Asami-" will your aunt make stuffed French toast?"

Wu-" probably if you come over."

Asami-" don't have to tell me twice. I'll be there in twenty."

Wu-" alright see ya."

Asami-"bye."

Wu hung up the phone and Asami got up to get ready. She didn't feel like wearing anything super fancy. Actually she felt like bumming it out. She packed a extra pair of clothes and her DS. She walked to the bathroom to take a shower and got dressed. She wore a grey crop top hoodie, that she cut, and some black baggy jeans that were tight around her ankles. She threw her hair up and put on her converse.

She grabs her backpack and put her other essentials before grabbing bubbles and walking out of her room. She saw Lu sweeping around. "Morning Lu, I'm going to Wu's house." She says. "Morning Miss Asami. Will you be sleeping over?" He asked. She nodded her head before grabbing a banana. "Alright well have a good time." He says. "You too Lu, you should take off today. I'll let my dad know he wouldn't mind." "Thank you."
