You had always hated Kaeya. His smug personality made your blood boil. It didn't help that many people admired him. People always thought you were rude, or too harsh on people. You'd always say it was discipline. You often hung around Diluc, at Angels Share.

Sometimes you would do commissions, or help people with their random issues. But, usually, it would be something along the lines of delivering food. Which was the most boring thing you have ever done. Or it would be helping Lisa find an overdue book, and help pay the price to whoever let it become overdue.

Currently, you were arguing about your issues to Rosaria, one of your acquaintances. You didn't like using the term 'friend', so you called people you enjoyed talking to your acquaintance. "Why did this new traveler suddenly get all of the attention of Mondstadt? Especially from Kaeya! Why is Kaeya so interested in him? What was his name—Aether? I understand how he somehow fought Dvalin in the sky, but is no one at all suspicious? We should suspect this boy. Didn't he say he came from a whole other world? Looking for his sister? Cliché," you explained to the woman, grumbling. She nodded in understanding.

     "Indeed," was all Rosaria said. Diluc was slightly paying attention to conversation, and decided to also put his input on the matter.

"Are you perhaps, jealous?" Diluc questioned, laying down a bottle of wine in front of the two of you. You scoffed.

"Me?! Jealous? Hah!" you angrily laughed, teeth gritting as you spoke. Diluc just rolled his eyes, and started serving more dandelion wine to drunkards.

"Yes, jealous. You are jealous of the attention the boy is receiving. Especially the attention of a certain someone," Diluc further explained, from across the tavern. Your face grew red.  Mainly from embarrassment. You slammed your fist down on the counter, which startled some people. Though,  they went on with their lives soon after.

     "I. Am. Not. Jealous," you tried your best to calmly reply,  your voice shaking in anger. Diluc sighed,  and stopped talking. Rosaria just side eyed you, not knowing what to say. She sipped a bit of wine, before fully turning to face you.

"L/n, I think it's best if you head home. It is quite late," the cryo vision holder dully stated, looking at you with lifeless eyes. Breathing in a deep breath, you got up. You had to fight the urge to flick the wine of glass onto the floor, so Diluc would have to clean it up. Though, you were classier than that.

Or, so you thought.

"L/n?! What are you doing?!" Diluc's rumbling voice got closer, as loud footsteps sounded throughout the tavern. Quickly scooping up your belongs, you bolted out of the tavern. After waiting for about a minute, when you realized Diluc wasn't going to hunt you down, you started off towards your home.
