All you wanted was a vacation. Of course the tardis just had to get stuck. While the tardis fixed itself, you were stuck in deep space. Being stuck in space wasn't the worst part. The worst part was dealing with the board doctor. He had no patience, and you had been stuck for a week. You were reading a book in the tardis console room, trying (and failing) to tune out the doctor as he ranted about how board he was.
"I have never been so board in my entire lives. This has to be the worst way to experience time. I don't know how humans do it, I'm much smarter than them but they figured out how not to be board."
"Hey! Human sitting right here!" You say, slightly offended. "Besides, if your so smart then how come we're stuck in space?"
"Oi! It's not my fault we're stuck!"
You smirked and went back to reading your book.
"Did I miss something funny?" The doctor said, clearly annoyed.
"Of course not, your to smart to miss anything, isn't that right?"
The doctor sighed, "Y/N, I didn't mean it like that-"
"Then what did you mean!" You yelled, standing up.
"Why do you have to be so... emotion-y?!" The doctor replied, frustrated.
You huffed and turned around, heading back to your room.
"Remind me why I even bother with your race!" You heard the doctor yell before you slammed your door shut. You flopped down face-first onto your bed and yelled into your pillow. You flipped over and sighed. You had never had an argument with the doctor like that, and it felt horrible. What if he didn't want you to be his companion anymore? Just dropped you off at home and you never saw him again? You felt a tear roll down your cheek as you thought about never seeing the doctor again. He was such an important part of your life, you couldn't remember life without him. He made you happy, and showed you the most amazing things. You didn't want your time with him to be over yet. What have I done you thought as you felt more tears start to spill from your eyes, and you sobbed into your pillow, eventually falling asleep.
You were awoken by the doctor knocking on your door, and you looked over to see him standing awkwardly in the doorway. You looked away sadly, and the doctor walked over to your bed and sat down next to you.
"The um... tardis is fixed so..." he said softly, there was a moment of awkward silence before the doctor pulled you into a hug. "Please don't go Y/N, I can't lose you and I... I-I love you..."
You hugged the doctor back tightly, and were relieved that he wasn't mad at you. "I won't leave you, I promise. You're my best friend and... I love you too. I never want to fight with you again." You responded and the doctor let go to look at you.
"You up for an adventure with cows on mars?" The doctor asked, smiling.
"Anytime." You said, smiling just as much. The doctor held out his hand to you and you place your hand in his, and you walk out together to go on another, but surely not the last, adventure with your time lord.
