Lily pov

tonight, was the date night, after school i went straight home. Changing from the school uniform, into my white dress, with. My favorite black slightly high heels but they had a chucky heel. They were cute, i thought as i went to fix my hair. For the 5th time, in the last hour, i thought as i had my jacket on the bed. As i heard a light beep, i grab my jacket, before headed down the staris. Then i locked the front door as i check for my keys and i had them. I thought as i walked to mirio car, he had an older truck.

He was dressed nicely, blue dressed pants, white shirt with blue and white tennis shoes. I smiled as i got closer to mirio. "you look beaufuil" he said as i felt butterflies in my stomach in the moment. "you look nice mirio" he smiled even more at me. "let me help you in the car" he said, as he helps me into his truck. As he gently gave me a boost, i smiled as he shut the door. Before getting on the drive side, he pulled out and began our way. To where he was taking me, in between then. It was a very awkward car ride. "do you like music?" he asked, "no... didn't even listen to music "i said, as he spoke. "i listen to a little bit of everything" he said, before he spoke once again. As i saw looking at the surrounding of the city, nature and the beaufuil buildings, "it's beaufuil here "mirio said, i lightly smiled. As he turned the car, into a parking lot near, a Greek restaurant i smiled at him.

"it's the only Greek restaurant in japan" mirio smiled as he opens the door and he got out of car. Before opening my door, he is helping me out. Of the car before locking the door, then we walked over to the restaurant was the across the street. Once we walked in, there was a host, she was looking at her phone when mirio. "um...oh...this way" she led me and mirio into the smaller dining room. There was a beaufuil garden there was even water fountain, we sat down. "drinks?" she asked in a hurry. She came back nervous, "may i take your orders?" she asked, "Greek chicken gyros meal" i order, "the Greek chicken, potatoes meal" mirio order.

Until he spoke up " tell me about you " he asked, i smiled and i blushed " okay, i will, only if you do the same " i said, he smiled " okay, i will..." he said, he smiled at me before he spoke once more. "where you are from?" he asked, "born in NYC, until i was 10, then Greek islands from ages. 10 – 13. than a little bit everywhere, you?" i asked, "just around here, country boy...a small town. It is far from here, 3 hours away.

In the town, only one hotel, hardly a town. It's beaufuil though "he said, "i never picture you a country, small town boy" i said, "i never i thought you were an American girl, you just don't sound like one" he said, before speaking up.

"your family?" he asked "i don't really have one anymore, it was my and me, she was a single mom. All i knew she hooked up with my dad, he did not know about me, all i know he is a pro hero. I had couple aunts, cousins but that was that. Yours?" i said.

"my mom and my dad had me young, because of it when I was 5 they divorce. They never blame me, they great parents. No siblings, lots of cousins though, my dad's side of the family i think i should be doing something different. But my dad is supportive of me. He is great "he said with a smile." i smiled before he asked, "how's your mom?, she must miss you."

i said, "oh .....she...gone yeah." I said, his face gotten sad, I felt bad. In the moment. Before I started to speak up "I like to think my mom is watching after me." What happen to your mom?" he asked,

"um, she died proactive me, i try to fight the mugger that broken into the house. but i could not help her, it happens on the night of my 13th birthday. I had gotten in the guardianship of my mother's boyfriend; he was awful man. until my uncle aizawa found me. out about the care I was in, so the guardianship change." I told mirio, I felt guilty for lying to mirio i could not tell mirio the truth, being raped and badly abused for my powers. I thought as i saw mirio eyes soften, he

placed his hands on my hands.

Gently squeeze it before speaking, "i am so sorry, if you ever want to talk about it. I am here lily. You're not broken" he said as i wipe my tear quickly, as soon that happen. The waitress came over put the food on the table, i smiled as i started to eat. We kept talking as we ate the food we order, but he change the current topic to better topic "when did you know when you wanted to be a hero?" he asked, i smiled "that's a tricky question, when i was a little girl i was dying from a serious illness, i knew i wasn't to live. I loved heroes, i like watching the fights on the news or anything with heroes.

But when i knew i wanted to be a hero, when i got cured in Greek. I knew i could "i told mirio he smiled before speaking, "i was ten, when i got saved by hero because i was drowning...in that moment i decide i wanted to be a hero" i smiled as he said that. As we were eating dinner, we kept talking about anything that came in mind.at the end of the night he was paying for dinner. There was a little girl, seven or eight years old, peaking her head over the bakery section. She started to speak Greek to me "are you the goddess? You're so pretty "she asked, i knew she was asking about. "it's secret, shh..." i said to her as i took my hands togther, as inside of my hands was growing a flower. I placed on top of the bakery area, she smiled brightly. Then i saw mirio behind me, i waved goodbye to the little girl. As i follow mirio, across the parking lot, as we were walking. "what was the little girl was asking he asked, "she said i looked like a princess, i was just messing with her" i said with a smile, he smiled back at me.

As we were in front his truck, as he was unlocking the door, then he helps me inside of the truck. Before getting inside the truck himself and driving off. We spoke, small talk to each other, then there he was front of the home were. I stayed at with my uncle, "i had a great time, i hope we can do this again?" mirio said, i panic in moment. "tomorrow, i am training ..i hate training by me "i said, he smiled "okay, i'll join you tomorrow "he said, i smiled and lightly blushed. As i heard the door unlock. "i'll see you tomorrow, mirio" i said as i got out of the truck. Before shutting the door, he spoke "keep smiling, beaufuil" in that moment i felt my heart race and me turning all shades of pink. Before shutting the door, seeing him leaving. I was filled with butterflies i thought as i walked into the house, i went to my bedroom. Where i had collapse on my bed while thinking about mirio and our date.
