Chapter 5~Carter

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock blaring through out my small but cozy room.

Lazily, I reach and turn it off, then I reach for my phone. And no I don't have a new updated phone, I have a 4s, which I also get made fun of, since I'm so 'poor'. ((A/N fun fact: I actually have a 4s at the moment ))

As I looked at my phone and saw I had at least 5 new unread messages, all from 'Bird'.

'Bird: I came up with the perfect name for you Shy! I will call you Shy!'

'Bird: Also morning :).'

'Bird: and you obviously don't wake up early. TEXT ME BACKKKKK :('

'Bird: SHHHHHYYYYYYY'

'Bird: Feeling the love '

My eyes widened as I read the last few texts. Does he thinks I'm ignoring him? Will he not want to talk to me anymore?

I immediately text him back.

'Me: I'm sorry! I was sleep! I swear'

I waited and watched my phone. Eventually, I gave up. Of course I couldn't help but screw up another friend ship. Honestly I'm such a screw up.

By the time I got off the bus an into my first period class I had no reply. Sighing, I took out my notebook and started writing my notes for class. Then I heard loud laughing I briefly glanced up to see Shawn, Taylor, and Aaron walking into the classroom talking rather loudly. I finished writing my notes and decided to doodle a bit on my notes trying to tune out their conversation but it just wasn't working.

I couldn't just not listen you know? I'm not really a nosy person but i couldn't help but take my focus off of my work and put it into their conversation.

"Oh! Shawn's got a crush!" Taylor started sing-songly while on what I assume is Shawn's phone, then handed it to Aaron. Aaron just examined his phone scrolling occasionally.

"She seems a little weird. Ya'know? Like loner-ish. Not like in the one to judge so easily, but I feel sorry for her." Aaron said

"My beautiful, beautiful, Shy! Love me, I'm desperate for your love!" Taylor said, retrieving possession of Shawn's phone once again.

Wait.

Shy.

That's what Bird calls me.

What a coincidence..

"Bugger off, Taylor!" Shawn groaned, getting the phone from him.

"Wait. She text back!" Shawn said happily, shoving Taylor on his butt onto the floor causing Aaron to laugh.

Shawn then typed into his phone quickly and turned his screen off.

I decided I should stop my stalker antics and get back to minding my own business. However, I felt my phone bussing from a text message I've received.. From Bird?
