Chapter 18

"Oh okay," Seungmin made a weak smile and left taking the document, leaving his apron behind as well as the uniform. He started reading through it as he walked outside on the sidewalk.

"Oh so this is the start of this nightmare. First, I lost the job I loved so much. What's next?" Seungmin sighed, walking home. "How am I going to pay these bills..." He thinks to himself.

"Seungmin," Lee Know found himself going into the youngers thoughts again.

"Yes?" Seungmin thought, realizing Minho was reading his mind.

"Come over to my place so we can discuss something, i'll give you ten minutes." Minho said.

"Alright." Seungmin placed the document on his counter and left his house once again, when he reached the older's house, he knocked on the door lightly.

Lee Know opened the door, then walked away towards an armchair, pointing towards the one across for him so Seungmin could sit down.

Seungmin sat in the chair and awaited something to be said to him.

"Did you receive the news earlier?" Minho asked after a moment of silence.

"Yes, I did." Seungmin replied, with a somewhat hurt face.

"I want you to know that the letter you got is going to be the least worst thing that's going to happen to you, so if you think that was terrible, you're wrong in so many ways. Also, I knew about your condition and I can't have you homeless because I need you to work for me so you'll live here, it's convenient and reasonable. Plus you won't have to worry about paying off rent or anything." Lee Know poured a glass of whisky. "Want some?" He offered.

"No thanks." Seungmin said, scrunching his nose a bit at the smell.

"Yeah, I got it from Germany, their whisky is one of the strongest there is. I really like hard liquor, keep that in mind for when you get on my bad side again and want to make up for it." Minho said, gulping some of the drink down. "I have your first task ready, take care of two bodies I forgot to deal with yesterday, alright? You know where they go already." He said.

Seungmin nodded and looked around a bit before finding the bodies, he slung one over his shoulder, and dragged the other with his free hand downstairs to the chamber he had. He then threw the one on his shoulder off of it and onto the floor, dragging them both into the pile next to Hyunjin. He then cringed a bit at that and went back upstairs to go clean his hands.

Minho saw Seungmin come back up and walked towards him. "Nice job, that was fast." He said.

"Thank you." Seungmin said, before he finished sanitizing his hands.

"Are you bored? Not that I care, but I am and if you're bored it's going to make this so much more interesting." Minho set his glass of whisky down, handing a towel to Seungmin. "You can dry your hands off with this." He said.

"Thanks." Seungmin took the towel and dried his hands. Not knowing what to do next, he just stood there.

"I don't understand why I always need to say things twice, it's irritating and it annoys me so much. I asked if you're bored and wanted to do something. I have a suggestion?" Minho repeated, this time slowly.

"I am kinda bored." Seungmin replied.

"Great, I have someone for you to take care of, this will help with the guilt for when you drag dead bodies. Follow me." Minho started walking down an unfamiliar hallway.

Seungmin was confused and followed Lee Know, slightly concerned for what was going to happen.

Lee Know opened a room revealing Nicole, who was weak and sitting on the ground in the corner of a room. "She tried coming after me in my sleep, I stabbed her with wood and put her in here, you get to finish her off, this should help you get used to seeing dead people from now on." He gave Seungmin a wooden stake. "Take this and stab it as deeply as you can through her heart, the heart is the only place you can kill a vampire in, no other body parts." Lee Know said.

"Oh uhm- alright." Seungmin held the wooden stake up to Nicole's chest before stabbing her, he didn't really flinch much when she started struggling, then pushing it deeper into her heart before she finally stopped struggling. Although he didn't say anything, he was feeling bad about it. "Okay, there. I'm assuming you want me to clean it up?" He says.

Minho stood there for a second, a bit surprised. "I didn't think you would do it so confidently. Also, that can be dealt with later. I would be finding you very attractive right now if you didn't stab me in the back, such a turn off." He said, grabbing the stake from Seungmin's hand and throwing it into a random corner of the room.

Seungmin almost wanted to vomit in his own mouth after he looked at what he did, but kept control of himself. "What now?" he asked.

Lee Know sighed. "I kind of want to kiss you." He replied, cupping Seungmin's face. "I can't allow myself to like you though, that would ruin this whole thing now wouldn't it?" Hesitantly, Minho backed off of Seungmin, walking back into the hallway.

Seungmin who didn't know what to say or feel just followed him out of the chamber. "Uh, do I have to do anything else?" Seungmin asked.

"Just follow me around, at any moment I could make use of you." Lee Know replied, walking into what looked like his office. "Oh yeah, those fish are carnivores, I need you to feed them meat. Under the tank there's red meat, the little handles are doors to a freezer containing the meat."

Seungmin nodded and did as he was told, opening the freezer and feeding the fish. Then, after he put everything back in its original place, he stood behind Minho waiting for anything else he could possibly request for. "I'm done." He said.

"That's it just come here, there's no point in pretending anymore." He sighed, Lee Know gestured for Seungmin to come to him.

Seungmin, who was confused, just walked over to him. "Yeah?" He asked.

Minho picked Seungmin up and sat him down on his lap, putting Seungmin's legs on either side of his waist before kissing him. "I wanted to do this but don't think it means anything." Minho said, connecting their lips again.
