When you were far enough you stopped to catch your breath. You decided to go to a cafe and get yourself together after what happened. You sat in the booth near the window with an iced coffee in your hand, you looked out the window and admired the city. You forgot how beautiful Japan is compared to Canada. You remembered always going to the city whenever he had tournaments in Tokyo.

You remembered the night you guys were sitting near the lake, it had such a nice view of the  water. The stars were reflecting off the water, Suna was beside you with his arm over you and your head resting on his shoulder. You looked up at him with a smile on your face "You're staring," he said. "I can't help it, I'm just so happy right now. I want to stay like this forever." He looked down making eye contact with you "I love you, I'm glad I met someone like you. You make me so happy. I don't deserve you at all, I will make sure to give you the world." he kissed your forehead after. You smiled at him. "I love you too," you whispered looking back at the view.

Like all good things, they always come to an end. Ever since you were young your dad was always sick. He took a lot of medications and had a lot of hospital visits. This time your dad was going to the hospital for surgery, the doctors suggested it because it would help him get better. The success rate was high and he would be out in a week.

It'd been a few weeks since he was in the hospital, you didn't really know what was happening because your mom never told you about it. Probably doesn't want you to worry, you told yourself it wasn't anything serious. Whenever she would visit the hospital she would suggest you come with her, but you were too focused on school and Suna that you always said no.

~Flashback~

It was the night of Halloween, the twins were throwing a party. You were invited but your mom wanted you to go with her to the hospital, you hated how it had to be the night of the party but you agreed because of guilt. You told Suna to go without you and have fun. He didn't want to go without you but you insisted and the twins too, or at least Atsumu was.

The night that you and your mom visited your dad in the hospital, would be the night that your life changed. You never really knew what was up with him until you got there, you found out he was staying in the ICU. He was in a coma and you couldn't believe all the information your mom was telling you, you were filled up with anger because she never told you.

When you arrived in his room, all you saw was his body lying there on the bed. He had tubes attached to him all over his body. Every step you took, your heart sank. As you got closer you noticed he lost a lot of weight, you couldn't recognize him. Your mom was on the other side crying, it hurt so much not only seeing your mom cry but your dad lying there. You felt nothing, you didn't know what to do. You couldn't cry, nothing. A doctor came in, and your mom moved to go beside you and held his hand.

(TW: Death)

She was explaining how his condition was for the day...then the worst thing happened. You heard the heart monitor beeping. You looked at the monitor and saw the line, the line that ran across the screen. Your heart dropped, you always saw things like these in shows never in real life.

"It seems that his heart stopped," she said. Those words...those were the words that made your heart drop again. Everything in you just stopped working, all you heard were the screams of your mom hugging the body of your lifeless father. You stood there no emotion, nothing.

You got home around 1 am and it felt more quiet than usual, more lonelier. You went up to your room and hid under the covers. You laid in your bed reflecting all the memories you had with your dad. You heard sobs from the room across the hall, your mom was crying her heart out. Why couldn't you cry, why did it feel like I was only crying because of guilt not because I feel sad? Why did it feel like I couldn't recall any other memories I had with him, are they disappearing? So many thoughts ran through your mind.

Before your dad left for the hospital you both got into a fight. He was screaming at you for always being with Suna, the house was filled with screams going back and forth. You were so mad at yourself for that being the last memory you had with you dad.

Then another thing happened, you got a notification from your friend Eri. You opened your phone to see what it was, your eyes widened from what you saw. It was a photo of Suna kissing a girl on his lap. You were hurt, there were a bunch of emotions going through your mind. You didn't know how to react so you turned your phone off, threw it across the room and slid back under your covers.
