Chapter 4

You were shaken from your thoughts when your phone rang, you looked down to see the caller ID, 'Kita'. You picked up the phone, "Hello?" "Hey y/n, I was wondering if you wanted to come over. I'm having a small get together and I'd love for you to be there." You hesitated a bit, small get together? There's a chance HE might be there. Am I ready to properly face him? "Uh sure but is it fine if I stay for a little?"

"That's fine, it starts at 6pm. I'll send you my address, see you soon." You hung up. Well even if he is there doesn't mean I have to talk to him, anyways it'd be kinda nice to hang out with people. After some hours of walking around Tokyo, you checked to see the time and saw that it was already 6:30 pm. You took a deep breath, everything will be fine, no need to feel anxious. It's not like you didn't completely cut all contact with them and refused to talk to them all  for six years.

With that you started panicking a little, contemplating going to the get together. You were overthinking a lot, but you were disturbed from a text on your phone. Looking to see who it was from it was an old friend of yours, Eri. She's a year older than you, and was the manager for the boys volleyball team. You grew close with her because of your constant presence at their practices. 'Hey it's been so long, I heard you're coming tonight, right? You better we NEED to catch up. It's been so long.'  You smiled to yourself, 'I'll be there soon and yes we'll catch up don't worry!'  you sent.

She was someone you relied on a lot back in high school, obviously you had other girl friends in school but you guys never built a friendship like you and Eri did. She was the person that tried to help you through your situation back in school. Unfortunately you cut contact with her, you didn't mean to, you just didn't trust anyone around you anymore. 

You looked at the door in front of you, it was about 7:00 pm when you arrived. Part of you wanted to go back to the hotel because of how scared you were. You texted Kita saying that you arrived, and before you knew it the door opened. You smiled at Kita as he welcomed you in. "Guys y/n is here," you looked up to see all eyes on you. You could feel the tension in the air when he said that. 

Suddenly you felt a pair of arms around you, Eri was smiling at you like a baby just got a new toy. "I missed you so much." You hugged her back, replying how you missed her as well. She brought you to sit with her and Aran on the sofa. "Been long y/n," he said going in for a hug. "Nice seeing you again y/n." Osamu said, you replied with a small smile. There it was again, the silence. Oh how it made you just want to leave and crawl under your covers. "UGH I hate the feeling right now, can we drink already?!" Atsumu said out of frustration. Everybody smiled at each other and agreed.
