Chapter 16

Katie's POV

"Katie...I...I " James stuttered

"You what James?" I asked raising his chin so we were looking straight into eachthothrs eyes.

"Come on James I won't judge you"
His eyes began to water the second I mentioned the word judge.

"Did someone do something honey?" I started to worry
"No I..i just figured out something that's a big part in my life"
"What is it?" I asked rubbing his back soothingly
He took a deep breathe...
"I'm gay" he sighed throwing his hands into his head
I emiedeitly wrapped my arms around him and kissed his cheek.
"What?" He asked confused
"James look at me" he turned his attention to me.
"I thought you were cheating on me, I thought you didn't love me anymore that's why I was so upset and I'm totally cool with gay people, you are who you are and you should be proud, ignore what people say and live" as I finished I saw James have a huge smile on his face and all the tears gone. He picked me up and spun me around.

"Your the most understanding person I know and the bestest friend I have" he smiled

"Thanks and your also one of the bestest friends I have and I'm gonna help you get threw this and help you become the person you feel you should be, I will always be here for you"

"Thank you Katie and I know you will find someone who's perfect for you " he said kissing my cheek
We stood there smiling at eachother for a few minutes
"Katie you know how you said you thought I was cheating on you, what made you think that?"
"Well you know that girl you always hang out with, I just saw how you acted with her and it just made me think you liked her"
"Oh Katie, she's the councillor for year 10" he said chuckling in the end
I blushed a bit "oops sowwy"
"That's alright" he said grinning

"So who knows about you being gay?"
I asked looking at him
"Well only you and the councillor for now, I want to tell people one at a time so it's not too much for me"

"That's ok I totally understand" I said smiling
"So what do you wanna do today" he asked

"Well how about me, you, Ellie and Jake go to the funfair" I relied

"Sounds good" he said

Ellie entered the room with some sandwiches

"Mmm yummy" me and James both said

"Everything sorted between you guys then?" Ellie asked
"Yh" be both nodded grabbing sandwiches
"But we're not together anymore, were better of as fiends" she nodded in understanding
"As long as your both happy"

"So Ellie we were thinking to go to the funfair?" I said

"Yeah go ahead" she said smiling
"With you and jake too silly" me and James cracked up laughing with Ellie joining in at the end.

Ellie went off to call Jake

James's POV

I can't believe how lucky I am to have a friend like Katie, she's so amazing and understanding and I know she will find her perfect guy one day and if he hurts her he will have me too answer to, I think This has made us even closer than before. I love Katie as a friend.

Ellie's POV

"Hey Jake" I said into my phone
"Hey everything ok?" He asked
"Yh just wanted to know if you wanna go to the funfair with me, Katie and James?"
"Yh sure il come round in about 30mins"
"Ok see you soon"
"Bye lovely" he said making me smile
I hung up the phone and went into the room

"Hey Katie can I borrow some of your cloths coz I don't think it's a good idea to wear a dress to a funfair"
"Sure you know where they are, help your self"
Me and Katie are so close we share everything, cloths, money, secrets, shoes, make up and so much more

I headed up the stairs of Katie's house to her room and walked over to the closet. I decided I'd wear something similar to what Katie was wearing.

I put on a light jumper that said #bestie which Katie's was also wearing but in black and grabbed some black jeans cream vans and a black shoulder bag to put my phone and money in. I left my hair down when I heard Katie's phone vibrate in is charger. We both go on eachothers phones so I decided to check it. I unlocked her lock screen which was a picture of us last year. I went to her messages.
