Remembering Us

Room 969 Part 1

Mina got into her car and started crying. the tears coming down after seeing Chaeyoung again. The fact that Chaeyoung actually did what she said. 'She actually came for me' Mina didn't know what to feel. All these years she was trying to forget her and now that she's back. 

'what do I fucking do' Mina couldn't stop crying. She was supposed to go and have dinner with Nayeon but she couldn't get herself together. She texted her that she wasn't feeling good and went straight to Momo's apartment.

Once she got inside, she started crying again. this time harder. "mina, what's wrong? how did it go with Chaeyoung?" she was rubbing Minas back to try and calm her down. 

Mina couldn't get a word out so Momo got her a cup of water. "drink this mina, calm down okay. I'm sorry. I didn't know you would react like this. I would have not agreed..."

"N no it's okay.." Mina started to calm down now. trying to explain herself. 

She finished wiping her tears and took a deep breath. "I'm okay now." 

"Sorry Mina but you don't look okay."

"It was so hard saying goodbye. letting her go"

"wait I thought.." Momo cut herself off. 

"you thought what?"

Momo looked away guiltily "I just thought you were going to..."

"go be with her?" Mina said and Momo nodded. 

"why- why would I? because she's now ready? no. I'm- I'm happy now."

"are you?"

Mina looked at Momo surprised. "what are you talking about?!" She got a little upset. 

"well just a couple of months ago you were still going on about Chaeyoung and now you just randomly accepted this girls proposal and you're gonna get married. you barely know her Mina."

Mina scoffed. "wow. you were really holding all of that in weren't you?!" 

Momo sat next to her and took her hands. "if this is what you want. if you really want to marry Nayeon, then I will be there all the way. I will be next to you. I will support you. but I just need to know that this is the right thing. That you actually want this and not just agreeing to make her feel good." she paused and waited for Mina to say something but nothing came out. she just looked away. 

"When I talked to Chaeyoung she seemed really sure that you were going to be with her. She loves you so much. she was so cute." Momo smiled. "she says she never stopped loving you and that she needed to hear it from you that it was over. so I gave in. plus she did promise to treat me." Momo giggled. 

"oh god. yea she said something about being your new friend."

Momo started giggling and Mina scrunched her eyebrows. 

Mina sat in silence thinking about what Momo had said. 'was I just agreeing to be nice.? I really really like Nayeon. she always makes sure I feel okay. she always asks me if I am okay and I always say yes. but am I?' Chaeyoung coming back definitely put a stop to Minas current thought. She didn't even think about going to see her girlfriend. 

'NO. I need to stop. just don't think about her. she's gone. probably leaving to South Korea tonight and I don't have to see or think about her.' Mina was lost in thought. she forgot Momo was there. 

"Mina!" 

"hmm?" She finally came back to her senses. 

"I've been calling you. helloo"
