Remembering Us

Goodbyes

Mina and Chaeyoung were cuddling again once night again after many hours of love making. Mina was scratching her hair gently like Chaeyoung liked. It was already 3 days before Minas wedding and Chaeyoung was getting desperate. It didn't seem like Mina was going to change, she just had to accept it. "can you take drive me to the airport tomorrow like mid day?" Chaeyoung randomly said while they were quiet. 

Mina stopped scratching Chaeyoungs head froze. She didn't realize their time was going to come to an end. 'do something you idiot.' 

"You're leaving?" She said and chaeyoung sighed. 

"mina... what do you want from me then. i will not stay here and watch you marry someone else." this was another strategy chaeyoung was trying. hard ball. Mina wrapped her arms around her again while she was talking. "It's been hard already when you had to go do your dress fitting. and checking flowers and shit." Chaeyoungs voice was cracking up so she stopped talking. 

Mina stayed quiet and just kept hugging her. "will you have time tomorrow? you dont work this week right? will you be busy with wedding stuff? if so ill just call a car." She said that with no emotion. Her life was going to be over any ways after Mina got married. 

"i can take you.." Mina had her eyes closed. she didn't know what to say to make Chaeyoung feel better any more but there was nothing left to do. She made a promise so she was going to keep it. 

"okay" Chaeyoung said and got up quickly and put some clothes on. Mina was confused because they were supposed to spend the night together.  

"wait what are you doing.?" She sat up and pulled the sheets on her since she was still naked. Chaeyoung began to gather all of her belongings and start packing. She figured she should get a head start since she was going to be very busy tomorrow. 

"i'm packing, isn't it obvious? I need to pack so i can leave this beautiful country and leave this beautiful girl..." she stopped and looked at Mina for a second before continuing. "i wont have time tomorrow since i have to make a few calls for work and get my flight settled." 

"oh" Is all Mina said. She lay back on the bed and almost began to cry before chaeyoung noticed an ran to her side. "hey hey hey, don't do this now okay. we have at least tonight to say goodbye." she caressed Minas face. you will forget about me very soon. Make sure you do or you won't have a happy wife. I'm sure she'll appreciate that. She's a very reasonable person." 

Mina was surprised at the remarks that Chaeyoung just said about Nayeon but just moved on. "but I wont forget about you. ever. just like I haven't all  these years. you were always in the back of my mind." 

Cheayoung smiled and kissed her sweetly after she said that. She let go and spoke again. "you know I'll be there. For when you are ready. I wont have anyone else. I don't care how long I wait. I know we are supposed to be together. doesn't matter if it's now or fifty years from now. we are meant to be baby." She kissed her again and Mina just cried. She knew Chaeyoung would wait. She truly believed that but she felt guilty.

"come here." Chaeyoung lay down. She was trying to be strong herself, She lay Mina down on her chest. She had put her clothes on earlier so Mina began undressing her again. Of course their last night was not going to be over with cuddling.

Morning came and Chaeyoung woke up first. She caressed Minas head to wake her up again. my love, it's time." They woke up around 11am and Chaeyoungs flight was at 3 so she had to be at the airport soon. They hadn't slept that much because of their activities so they were both tired. 

Mina opened her eyes and looked at Chaeyoung sweetly. She had bags under her eyes from the lack of sleep though. "oh noo, promise me tonight you will go to sleep early. beauty sleep is very important. especially for you wedding. you need to look perfect for you bride okay?" Mina got sad again. 

She just nodded her head. "lets go take a shower before you go first." Mina got up letting the sheets fall off of her naked body. She walked toward the bathroom looking at Chaeyoung briefly before going in. 

Chaeyoung put her arms behind her head and smiled. 'that's gonna be my wife' She was day dreaming before she heard a voice behind the door. "Chae Chae, I'm waiting" 

"coming!" she yelled before going in and enjoying her breakfast.

It was very quiet on the way to the airport. Both didn't know what to say to each other. How to approach or how to start saying goodbye. 

Mina was driving slow on purpose. "I'm gonna miss my flight if you don't drive faster Mina mi" 

"I'm just trying to get as much time with you as I can." Mina started to drive a little faster after that comment. They weren't that far away from the airport anymore but it was time. 

They were finally there. Mina parked the car and sighed. "fucking shit" she said before punching her steering wheel. "ya, you'll hurt your little fists and fingers." Chaeyoung took hold of her hands and started kissing them. "my beautiful magical hands" She said which made Mina laugh a little. Chaeyoungs dirty mind always made Mina laugh. 

"just give me a big kiss to remember you by" Mina didn't think about it and grabbed Chaeyoungs neck. attacking her mouth with her own. adding her tongue into the mix. receiving some moans. She would always receive these moans from her girl. 

Chaeyoung removed her mouth and leaned their foreheads together. She opens her eyes and it seemed Mina was waiting for her to open her own. 

"i love you. forever my Mina mi" Se whispered. 

"i love you my Chae Chae" Mina said back. 

They kissed each other one more time and Chaeyoung got out fast. She couldn't be in the car anymore. She couldn't make this goodbye any longer. It was over for now. 

Mina decided to drive away quickly. looking through her side mirror. She could see a tiny Chaeyoung with her hand up. waving a little and then blowing a kiss. Chaeyoung She new Mina was going to be looking back at her. so se decided to stay there until she disappeared. 

"i love you" Chaeyoung whispered into the air. 

"i love you" Mina also whispered and then tried. She cried and cried for the whole car drive. There was no way to get over Chaeyoung any time soon but she had a wedding to do. She had another person that was relying on her. Relying on that promise she had on her ring finger. 

Nayeon was to be her wife in a day. 'why didn't you fight harder' She said to herself as she was crying. This was not gonna be easy to hide from her. 

'why didn't I fight harder.'
