Remembering Us

Starting

It was finally time to go but Chaeyoung was not in the mood.

"I cant find it!" 

"Chaeyoung, we have to go. I will buy you a new hat! " 

"NO, I want that one. it is my favorite, you know it's my favorite! help me look.!" Chaeyoung kept rummaging though her luggage and looking under every piece of furniture, almost pulling her hair out. 

"we can just buy another one of the same kind Chaeyoungah, we will miss our flight." Mina was just standing with her hands on her hips just watching her. 

"I need that hat, it is the hat i had on when we went on our hike, the same one i used when we were laying on the beach, the same one I used whe-"

"baby baby baby, please calm down, I'll help you look but we only have 10 minutes. we have to go after that okay?" 

Chaeyoung took a deep breath. this was just an excuse because she really did not want to go. she wanted to stay in their bubble with her wife. She didn't want to go back to the real world. 

"if I can't find my hat then.. then I'll just have to stay here." She lay down flat on the bed not moving. 

Mina opened her eyes wide. "wait what!? Chae Chae please, we have to goo" She took hold of her hands and tried to pull her up but Chaeyoung was too heavy. She gave up and let go. 

"UGHH i will leave you here if you don't get up" Mina started to put everything back in it's place, they only had a little more time. 

"not without that hat" Chaeyoung crossed her arms and pouted. 

Mina ignored her and was still putting everything back. but as she was, she opened one of the zippers and saw the hat Chaeyoung was looking for. It was in a pretty obvious place which got Mina thinking that she hid it on purpose. 

"are you sure you looked everywhere Chae?" 

"i looked everywhere and it's no where so we will have to stay another night." Chaeyoungs lip curved a little thinking that she won. 

"well okay i guess we'll have to stay" 

Cheayoung shot up quickly. "really!?" she said but when she looked up, Mina was holding the hat she was looking for. 

Her smile disappeared fast but that just made her sad. 

"so you tried to hide it? you think we were going to stay because of that?"

Chaeyoung just nodded her head while looking down. 

"my love, we still cannot stay.. it's time to go back to reality. i promise it will not be any different. we will just be around more people everyday. but..." Mina sat next to her on the bed and pulled her closer. "everyday, we will come back to each other. everyday i will kiss you. just as we have these past days." She kissed Chaeyoungs left cheek softly and smiled. 

Chaeyoung smiled again and kissed Minas cheek too. they stared at each other and Mina thought of something to make Chaeyoung feel a little better. something they haven't done for years. 

She kissed her other cheek, just like they used to do. 

Chaeyoung smiled again as she remembered and realized what Mina was doing. She kissed Minas other cheek too. She closed her eyes and waited for what the next one will be. it was her turn after all. 

Mina noticed her eyes closed and leaned in slowly. leaving a gentle kiss on her lips. Chaeyoungs smiled automatically. remembering the last time they did that. 

"i love you" 

"i love you, now lets go enjoy our life together." Mina held her face in her hands whispering onto her lips. 

Chaeyoung nodded. She was a little scared before this but now she was ready. 

*BEEP*

The car was ready to take them to the airport. they walked out hand in hand together. Chaeyoung turned around, looking at and recalling their honeymoon bubble. she pouted a little but smiled again once she felt Mina tug on her hand. 

They left for the airport. wearing very comfortable clothing. Another long flight awaited them.

They were going back to Japan to figure everything out. They got married so soon and didn't get any of the details for the married life. whether they were going to be living in Japan or South Korea. This was one of the reasons Chaeyoung didn't want to return. all of these details were too much. She wanted it to be easy. 

"should we talk about it?" Chaeyoung started the conversation since they were going to be on this flight for a while.  

"talk about..?" 

"well first things first. where will we live?" 

Mina stopped reading her book and thought for a second. "we could move back?" 

"but you have a job a life here" she held Minas hand. 

"it's not only about me, you do too." Mina took a sip of her drink. 

"you are my life now Mina, and i quit my job remember? you will just have to provide for us while i wait for you to come home.. maybe naked." Chaeyoung said which made Mina choke with the water. 

She laughed. "you are seriously crazy in the brain, love." 

"well all I'm saying is i will do whatever you want." she smirked. 

"okay, how about we stay in japan for some time and then go back to south Korea. its where we grew up. where we fell in love. where we had our first kiss. where we had our first.. umm.." mina coughed. referring to their first time together. 

Chaeyoung giggled since she is usually the one to make these sort of comments."thats true. we could start an amazing life there. right where everything happened. so let's do it!" It was settled. Chaeyoung was good with everything, as long as Mina was there. She was willing to leave everything for Mina. And that's what she did. 

"and you will make a perfect, amazing and sexy housewife..." She pecked Chaeyoung lips quickly. 

She was surprised by the affection she was receiving. She usually only gets that privately.

Finally getting to Minas apartment, Chaeyoung decided to be alike a traditional couple stepping into their home for the first time. She lifted Mina up and pushed the door open, walking inside and giving her a big kiss. 

She put her down, feeling satisfied until she saw something that made her smile disappeared quickly. She put Mina down and brought the bags inside. But Chaeyoung just went straight to the bedroom not saying a word, leaving Mina a bit confused. 

"chae chae?" she followed her. 

"hmm"

"is something wrong? we were happy a couple of seconds ago. what it is?" 

Chaeyoung didn't say anything though. the thing she saw really bothered her and she hadn't noticed it before..
