4a |The Star

Some how, Dani managed to get herself dressed and in the car on time. Luckily Jungkook had a driver who knew exactly where to go. Soon Dani was at the dance studio.

I can't believe I'm going to meet all the members!!!

Dani was excited even though she was confused and terrified of being in a man's body. She didn't know what she would do when the body would have to pee or how to speak Korean. But Dani pushed the strange thoughts out of her mind. Today was going to be awesome.

Thirty minutes later, the car pulled up to BigHit headquarters. Luckily the body guards lead Dani to the dance studio since she wouldn't know how to get there on her own.

Her hands were shaking fiercely as she turned the door handle.

I'm going to meet BTS! Everyone is behind this door...

She took a deep breath and entered the room.

Hobi and Jimin were already half practicing in the corner. It looked like they were creating new choreography. Even with his back to her, Dani could tell that it was Jin that was talking to someone on the phone. Tae was making silly faces, trying to distract Jin on his call. And lastly, Yoongi and Namjoon were creating melodies and writing lyrics in their notebooks.

The energy in the room was strangely familiar. It was like Dani had walked into a high school classroom after lunch.

"Kookieeeee," Jimin trotted over to Dani, who stood frozen in the doorway.

"That was a clever prank. I know those face editing apps can edit videos now too but I didn't know you could alter the body to that extent! You must've spent a lot of time making it."

"Umm, yeah I did haha." Dani had no idea what Jimin was referring to but she decided to just go with it.

"Oh yeah, he sent it to me too. It was kinda disturbing to be honest." Said Yoongi.

"Whaaat? Disturbing? No way, maybe it looks different on your phone, uh lemme see it. Again."
Her plan worked, Yoongi mindlessly handed over his phone.

It opened onto Twitter where there was a video sent from...her Twitter account?

Wtf?

Dani clicked on the video. It featured her dancing in the living room. She had never seen this combination of moves before but she could tell it was some sort of choreography.

"What I wanna know is, how did you get your green screen to be so stable? If I was moving that much, the background would be glitching like crazy! You didn't use the official studios for this did you?" Asked Hobi.

Dani was stunned. She had never made such a video, and yet here she was, jiggling in 4K. The hideous thing that all the members were laughing at. It was mortifying.

"Alright guys that's enough. We've got some serious work to do today."

It was like Namjoon could read Dani's mind. He knew she needed saving.

"We we're gonna rehearse the dance some more buuut, Yoongi and I came up with a new hook for the song and we want everyone to listen to it."

Dani was relieved that she wouldn't have to perform a dance she had no idea how to do.
Without further delay, the boys all headed to the music studio. A matte black box with mics and tons of confusing equipment.

"Ok, tell us what you think. If everyone likes it we gotta record it and add it to the song right away."

Namjoon and Yoongi began singing the new hook. Dani was shocked at how good they actually were at singing. They definitely were holding back when they sing on other tracks.

When they finished the verse everyone clapped and nodded in approval.

"It's way catchier than the other version. I think our fans will really like it." Said Tae.

"So it's settled. Let's divide up the parts and record!"

Oh no! I can't sing for shit! How am I supposed to record the song?

"Wait! Uh, uh I have to take a shit, bye!" Dani ran out of the studio and down a random hallway.

I'll find one eventually.

Sure enough, she ran into a bathroom. She started pushing open the door to the woman's room but then stopped.

Wait! I can't go in that one.

Afraid of the unknown, Dani slowly pushed open the door to the men's room. It was surprisingly clean and didn't smell bad at all.

Dani leaned over the sink and tried not to throw up.

I don't know how much longer I can keep this up! I can't sing or dance, I can't even speak K- WAIT I've been communicating with the members this entire time! WHICH MEANS CAN SPEAK KOREAN!! Wait...does this also mean...

Without a second thought, Dani began singing Euphoria. Sure enough, Jungkook's angelic voice rang out.

Dani was in shock. She could do all the things that Jungkook can do. She was gonna be alright! She was gonna be better than alright, because now she could live her life as a pop star!

Dani let out a laugh. "This is incredible! I am never going back."

Dani left the bathroom with a new found confidence. She was no longer Dani, a stressed out- over weight college student. No. She- HE was Jeon Jungkook. The youngest member of the most successful boy group in the world. And he isn't going to let anyone take that away from him.
