6A |The fall

"Jungkook's" head was pounding. A high pitched sound was going off in his head like a mic with bad feedback.
Where am I? Why do I feel so cold?

He opened his eyes. He was in his room but something wasn't right...

I-I'm naked? What the-

Jungkook whipped his head around to check his surroundings. The other side of his bed was messy, small pink strands were strewn about the sheets.

The girl from the club! I guess she left earlier this morning. Oh well.

Jungkook hopped out of bed and began his normal routine. He showered and got last nights grime off him. He brushed his teeth and made himself breakfast. Everything was fine until he checked his phone.

Fuck.

Each one of the members had called him multiple times but no one called more than Namjoon. Each voicemail he left was longer than the last.

This can't be good.

Surprisingly Bangtan PD had only called once.
Jungkook slowly opened the voicemail. It was short but stern.

My office. 2pm. If your late, your fired.

By the time Jungkook arrived at the office he was sweating profusely. His job was on the line! He was embarrassed that he allowed something like this to happen.

How could I be so naïve??!

Bangtan PD had the corner office on the the top floor of the building. Normally natural light flooded into his office via floor to ceiling windows. But today all the blinds were drawn shut. The office was completely dark except for a single light hanging over a brown table in the center of the room.

PD was sitting there quietly with his hands clasped.
"Sit down." He ordered.

Jungkook immediately flopped down into the chair across from his boss.

"How."
"I'm sorry sir I-,"
"HOW could you let-," PD could barely get the words out. He looked like he was going to be sick. Like he was disgusted with the young star. And why wouldn't he be.

Jungkook had never felt more ashamed in his life.

"You have brought shame onto yourself, onto the group, the company! This country! You are an embarrassment!"

"I'm sorry I-,"
"Your fired."

"What?"

"This scandal is just too big to bear. I can't have you bringing down the rest of the group with your reckless behavior!"
"Wait no but-,"

"Jungkook? Your done here."

"Maybe I can lay low for a few months and then-,"
"No."
"Please sir!"
"I SAID YOUR DONE. Either get out of my office on your own, or I'll have security forcibly remove you."

With tears now streaming down his face, Jungkook reluctantly left the office. He had ruined everything.

Dani had ruined everything. She let her ego and excitement get in the way of her better judgement. It was because of her that one of her favorite members had been exposed and now expelled from the best musical act in the world.

For the first time in days, Dani felt like her old insecure self again.

I can't do anything right. Even when I'm someone else.

Dani was so lost in thought as she exited the elevator that she almost didn't see Dani screaming at the security.

"YOU HAVE TO LET ME IN, I HAVE TO SEE HIM"

Dani couldn't believe her eyes. Somehow her old body had made it all the way to Korea and was now attempting to break into BigHit headquarters!

The old Dani turned and locked eyes with new Dani/ Jungkook.
"THERE I AM!"

Dani knew what she had to do. With a deep sigh she stepped forward and said, "Its alright everyone. She's with me."
