Third Person
"Thankyou. Come again soon." He said softly as he passed the bag full of assorted sweets to the customer.
"Yah. Changkyun- ah, be more energetic come on!" The loud voice of his coworker was enough to make him snap his head back to look at him.
"Wonho hyung please lower down your voice or I'll tell Soonyoung you're misbehaving again and he'll surely kick you out." He sighed at the puppy like expression Wonho was giving him.
"Its unfair how much he listens to you but no, he won't do that Hoshi loves me." Wonho smiled after pouting and sometimes Changkyun can't help but to wonder how many coffee he needs to drink to match the energy of his hyung but he'll probably just have palpitations instead of the same amount of energy Wonho has.
"Yeah, I know. He always comes back to you anyways." Oh how lucky they are with their relationship.
It's already 4:25 pm and he was halfway done with his shift. In just a few minutes he can finally finish this and go back home.
"You know what Changkyun I sometimes wonder if one day I'll ever get to read you."
"What do you mean?"
"You always keep a calm expression and you never indulge to conversations about you."
He watched silently as Wonho started to pack donuts in a box.
"I just don't like the attention."
"Hm. Is it the attention you don't like or the fact that they'll be able to pull out information from you?"
Changkyun and Wonho were friends for almost a year and a half now and he only opened up to him and no other. But of course they only talked about little things, for some parts of his life will forever be kept from people.
Wonho is aware of Changkyuns boundaries and he respects them but conversations like this are really inevitable and sometimes Wonho worries for him and his seemingly undetailed past but he knows Changkyun is a good kid he may be weird sometimes but he's decent and responsible enough and he knows the kid has a reason. He trusts the kid.
"Don't worry, Changkyun. I respect your silence and I still love you." Wonho eyed Changkyun teasingly as Changkyun made a choked sound. He loves his hyung very much.
He looked at the time and he only has five minutes left before his shift ends and in some other days he often spends that 5 minutes to prepare his things to leave, only if the store is not packed with customers, and it looks like today is one of those days.
He excused himself from Wonho and the man nodded. He went inside the room just beside the sink and started to remove his apron and shirt.
He was in the middle of changing when the door chimes rang and the sound of Wonho's energetic and surprised greeting passed through the thin door of the employee's room. Damn, Wonho and his energy.
"Hyunggggggggg. You work here?!" a voice sounded. Must be his friend?
"Hi Jooheon! And yes I do work here. Hoshi owns this shop." Yeah, his friend.
Changkyun never met any of Wonho's friends before and he had no intention to. He's already contented with one. Or maybe that's just the amount of human companionship he allows himself to have. A large group might be too hard and too pressuring for a person like him who's careful with his words.
He encountered a lot of people, in the human world, in a span of 4 years and he talked to them the best he can but he doesn't know if he should consider them as his friends or not. He doesn't want to assume. He only knew Wonho considered him as a friend when the guy declared that they indeed were.
