Third Person POV
The sound of oil popping, the cloud of steam and the aroma of a well cooked meal filled the small home.
Changkyun was currently cleaning the messed up counter as he waited for his fried rice to completely finish.
As his meal was ready to be plated he felt a soft vibration coming from his pocket. Checking it and seeing a familiar number he answered the call.
"Hyung?"
"Changkyun- ah. Good evening. I was just wondering if you're free this weekend?"
"Hm. As far as I know I have no schedules and errands to run that day, so I guess I am. Why hyung? What's up?"
"Ahh. That's great I would like to let you know that me and a few friends will be hanging out on Asan Gingko this Saturday and I would like to invite you."
Changkyun was clearly taken aback by the invitation, not because it was uncommon but because he was hanging out with his co- worker who was also bringing his friends. He was never the type of person who was great with communicating considering his nature and his lack of social skills.
Even if that's not the issue he was still not the type to interact with people anyways. He'll never admit it but he's genuinely scared of other people's opinions on him so hearing that there will be other people along with them was making him nervous.
He was the type who would rather stay at the back of the room where he feels alone and safe along with his real identity he tries to protect so much.
"Uhm- uh, sure hyung but- are your friends ok with me being there?"
"Of course! I already told them Changkyun and they're actually looking forward to see you. It's good to socialize sometimes, y'know? But don't worry I won't force you hun."
Bless Wonho's soul for that but if he's going to go he'll meet new people which sounds terrifying but kinda nice.
"Sure hyung. I would love too."
"Yey! I knew you'd come. I'll just text you the time and updates. Bye, Kyun~"
"Bye hyung."
*
Rain started to pour and thunder flashes from the outside.
He was cleaning the dishes just like every night, it was peaceful. Until the ruffling of bushes was heard from the back of his house. Normally he would just ignore this if it's not followed by the sound of ceramic pots shattering, but it did.
With furrowed brows he walked slowly to the glass sliding door at the back of his house which leads to the garden. Thunder flashed again and it was a big one. It was really normal and he would usually not panic in moments like this but not now. Certainly not now after he just saw the outline and a silhouette of a man outside his glass door.
Grabbing the nearest pan he can reach he opened the sliding door to be greeted with nothing.
He quickly checked outside before locking the door and running as fast as he can to his bedroom, completely ignoring his unfinished cleaning.
Going straight to his bathroom and splashing cold water on his face. He breathed in.
He was shaking. Completely terrified and aware of what he saw. The thought of someone spying him or spying his house was terrifying, I mean who wouldn't be terrified. He shook it off as his exhaustion. He was completely drained.
Quickly completing his night shower, he jumped in his bed as fast as possible. Wanting to sleep and escape his overthinking mind. No, he was just seeing things. It might be just a plant of some sort.
He shut his eyes and tried his best to sleep which his body thankfully complied. Surrendering anxiousness to sleep.
Unbeknownst of the man currently stalking to his bed with the most ridiculously terrifying grin and the expression of pure joy and victory.
The man who wanted him from the start and continued to want him until now. The man who wanted nothing but to have Changkyun all to himself.
He was finally here, he thought. Right by his dear Changkyun's side. It was only them alone. They were alone. The thought of having Changkyun all to himself stirs something deep in his gut.
"I finally found you,"
Raising his hand to cup the sleeping boy's face and dragging his hand over the slightly parted lips. The bright light of thunder casting shadows over his sharp features.
"you're mine, Changkyun. Mine and mine only," it was a breathless whisper that held a promise.
He crouched down to kiss his forehead lightly making the boy squirm in his sleep in response.
"I'll come and get you soon." He finished before completely walking away but not without a last glance. Leaving as fast as he came before the sleeping body completely wakes up.
He has always been there for Changkyun. It might not be that obvious in this story but everyday his want for the younger seems to grow more.
Consider him the villain. He doesn't care. He has always been from the start. Completely careful and good at silence.
He promises that in the end of this ridiculous story. Changkyun will be his and no one else's. Even if it meant killing another.
