TW: nightmares, violence, crying
Remus jolted awake with a scream. He had just had thd most horrific nightmare of his life. He had... hurt, Logan, in all the ways he could imagine. Knives, drills, belts, fists, claws, you name it. He hugged himself before he hit his arm. "No... i don't even deserve my own comfort." He whispered to himself. He felt like a horrible person. Not only did he hate the thought of hurting Logan, he hated the fact he had a nightmare about it. What does that say about him if he had the nightmare? Salty tears ran down his face as he curled up tightly. Logan was in the room next to him. His heart sank as he heard little whimpers coming from Remus's room. He sighed as he walked into Remus's room. "Remus? Are you okay?" He asked, sitting down on the bed. Remus looked up and backed into the corner of his bed. "I'm sorry..." he said. Logan raised and eyebrow in confusion. "Why are you sorry?" He asked carefully. "I-i had a nightmare w-where i hurt you-" Remus wiped his eyes on the sleeve of his onesie. Logan frowned. "Remus, just because you had a nightmare about hurting me does not mean that you need to apologise." Logan said. Remus nodded, unconvinced. "And even if it did mean something, you didn't enjoy the nightmare, clearly. So you don't actually want to hurt me." He said. Remus nodded softly. After a few moments of awkward silence Logan carefully opened his arms, offering a hug. Remus crawled into his arms and hugged him tightly. Logan stiffly wrapped his arms around Remus with a gentle smile. Remus smiled softly, grinning as Logan clasped his arms around hin. The smaller man fell asleep in a few minutes. Logan was going to leave, but he just couldn't. He gazed down at Remus lovingly, planting a gentle kiss on his forehead, earning an unconscious smile from the man
