10:17pm...

Prince smiled as he watched Skye put on his pajamas, the sky blue two piece making Skye's skin stand out more.

"That colour looks great on you" he complimented.

Skye chuckled as he got in bed, he snuggled closer to the prince.

"Thanks and you look great in your birthday suit"

He does admit that when Prince confessed he slept naked, he was a little turned on by that, but that will be his secret to keep.

"So how was your first day in the palace"

His mind took him to Edward, will the two be at odds because of something that happened in the past? The whole thing was just petty to him.

"It was interesting, i noticed that the maids that worked here during the whole choosing a suitor thing are not here....did they get fired or something?" He asks.

"Who?" Prince asked in confusion, why on earth was Skye remembering some maid?

Skye sighed.

"The maids who used to tutor me, where are they?" He asked.

"Oh them, i fired them"

Skye frowned.

"Why would you do that? Was it because of me?"

"I don't think you should worry about this small issue Skye, I'll get you new maids"

His frown deepened, he sat upand smacked Prince on the chest.

"How can you say that, those women were my friends in this lonely place"

Pricne gasped when Skye started crying.

"Hey, hey, don't cry, I'll look for them first thing in the morning" he says cuddling him.

Skye's cries got louder.

"Skye why are you crying?"

"I'm so happy you idiot" Skye replies glaring at him with teary eyes.

Prince was confused but he still wiped Skye's tears.

"Stupid hormones" Skye huffed.

Knock.knock

"Ehm, Prince?"

Skye sighed, the person behind the door was Edward.

"I'll be back" Prince says before getting out of bed and putting on a pair of boxers and a black silk robe.

Prince opened the door and found his brother still in his day clothes.

"Edward shouldn't you be sleeping? You have an equestrian exam tomorrow"

Edward dismissed his question with a dismissive wave.

"Never mind that, i want to ask something"

He sighed and folded his arms.

"I'm all ears"

Edward sighed.

"Do you believe that the baby Skye is carrying is....yours?"

"Excuse me?" He asks, the change in his voice made Edward feel uneasy.

"The baby Skye-"

He gasped when he was pinned against the wall by his neck, the glare in his brother's eyes made him shake.

"Let this be the first and last time you think of Skye in that manner, he's not some cheap whore you think he is, for God's sake Edward you went on my behalf to send him flowers, do you really think he's that type of person who sleeps around? Especially when he knows he can get pregnant?"
