THE PRINCE AND I

He knocked on the door and smiled when it was immediately opened.

"Have you been waiting all day for me?" He asks stepping inside.

Xavier smiled and pulled him by the waist and pecked his lips.

"What can I say, i missed you"

Benedict chuckled and sat on the couch. He sighed resting his head on Xavier's chest.

"Everything alright?" Xavier asks feeling concerned.

"I had a long day that's all. So you wanted me to come over?" He asks sitting up.

Xavier nodded before he smiled.

"I want us to have lunch together so i got takeout"

"Wow, you really know how to win a guy over" he says sarcastically. Xavier rolled his eyes laughing.

"I can't cook, didn't you wonder why i made you a smoothie instead of the whole breakfast thing"

Benedict shrugged. He didn't really care about cooking.

"I only know how to make one meal, chicken potpie" he confesses. It was the first dish his mother taught him.

Xavier gasped.

"That's my favorite dish"

"I guess we're really soulmates then" Benedict says with a shurg.

Xavier stood up and headed to the kitchen, he came back with the takeout boxes.

"I didn't know what you like so i got.....everything on the menu"

"Jesus, you could've asked"

Xavier leaned in taking Benedict by surprise.

"Like i asked about my gift to you?"

Benedict blushed. He had forgotten about that.

"I guess.....don't distract me I'm trying to scold you here"

Xavier sighed and sat next to him.

"Just let me spoil you, just for today"

Benedict looked into his eyes, they sparkled with determination. He nodded.

"Fine"

"Good, now before we eat i want a show, model those for me" he says pointing at the pink shopping bag.

Benedict looked inside and gasped.

"WHAT?!"

The palace was silent. Everyone in their rooms trying to digest the events that took place this morning.

Skye was in the kitchen making lunch for Prince while he slept upstairs. It took Prince an hour to fall asleep and a lot of cuddling but he didn't mind any of it, he was going to be there for Prince in every step of the way.

"Shouldn't we be cooking for you?"

He turned around and gasped seeing two familiar faces.

"Veronica! Mercy! When did you guys get here?" He asks hugging them.

The two ladies smiled at him.

"The prince called us this morning, we were supposed to arrive during brunch but our flight got delayed"

Tears threatened to escape the corner of his eyes but he blinked them away. So Prince had this surprise planned only for it to be ruined.

"You're here, that's all that matters....i wish we could catch up but Prince really needs right now" he says.
