Samantha came over after school. She fixed the car without saying a thing. When I tried talking to her, she kept her answers short. A few hours later she finished. "Well it's done. I shall be leaving now." She said without looking at me.

"Samantha what is going on?" I asked.

"What do you think?!" She yelled finally looking at me.

"I won't know if you don't tell me."

"Liam, just stop! Don't play stupid with me! I know it is all an act! And you know that I know so why do you continue it? You know what is wrong now get it through your head!" I could see tears welling up her eyes.

"I'm sorry." I said to her lightly.

"I don't want to hear you say sorry if you don't mean it!"

I looked into her pretty blue eyes, "Samantha, I really am sorry. I will try to change."

"Promise me here and now that you WILL change. Change back into the real you."

"Samantha I don't..." As the words come out of my mouth, i could see the hurt in her eyes."...I promise."

"Do you really?" Samantha's hair blew in the light wind.

I took my hand and lightly moved her hair behind her ear leaving my hand on the side of her face. "I promise I will try, for you."

She put a soft, warm hand on to mine and smiled. "I have to get going now." Her touch left my hand. She turned around and walked to her truck. Samantha left my site, but not my mind. I walked back inside the house with a small smile on my face. She did look stunning today a school, but she looked better without it all. I didn't want to make her do something she didn't want to do. But she will do it until I change. Would it be worth it to change anyways? How could I be sure? Thoughts of her wrapped my mind.

"Liam?" I jumped as I heard my name. I turned around and there was my mum. "Is Samantha here?"

"No she just left." I sat down at the table.

"Aw I looking forward to seeing her." She sat next to me. "What's up Liam? Is there something wrong?"

"No it's just Samantha wants me to change. You know, back to how I was before X-Factor. Today, so she could hang with my friends, she dressed all different. Then after she got all mad at me and I just don't know."

My mum put her hand on mine,"Liam do you want to change?"

I thought about it,"Yes, for you and her."

"Well then at least try."

"I will."

She stood up from the chair,"Go call Samantha to come over. Say it's an emergency." She walked into the kitchen.

She locked me outside. After I called Samantha, my mum pushed me out the door and locked it. "Liam? Liam what wrong?" Samantha came running towards me.

"Nothing. My mum here told me to say it was an emergency. I have no idea what she is up to."

"Oh. Um ok."

I heard the door unlock and open,"You two come inside now it's freezing out there." We both walked into the house. The smell of food filled the air. We all got to the kitchen and there was food. "I made dinner. So you two can go sit down." We both did as we were told and sat down. "Oh it's getting late, Umm I'm just going to go to bed. You kids can eat without me." Before either one of us could say anything she left the room.

"Well I guess we eat?" Samantha questioned.

"I guess. I don't know what's up with her today. She was just saying a couple hours ago how she wanted to see you." I said while putting some food on her plate.

"Really? Hmm..." She had a smirk on her face.

"What?" I was confused. It was like she knew something I didn't.

"Oh nothing. Just get your food and eat." She started eating her food. She changed clothes since she was here earlier. Her hair was up in a bun, she on a t-shirt and sweatpants on. I could tell she had absolutely no make-up on. She still looked pretty. I prefer this over the other look by a lot. "Are you going to eat or stare at me the whole time?"

"Huh? Oh sorry." I turned away and started eating the food on my plate. I saw a flash of light outside of the window. "Looks like a storm."

"Oh great. So umm sorry about the way I acted toward you earlier today. I don't know what came over me." See looked down.

"Hey no it's my fault. I should be the one saying sorry for the way I was acting." I lifted her chin up so I could look into her blue eyes. "You deserve better and I am going to keep my promise." She smiled at me. Then her phone went off.

"Sorry." She answered her phone, "Hello?... Yeah...ok...ok...bye." She hung up her phone. "I have to go apparently the storm is coming down hard." We both stood up and walked out to the porch. She was right it was pouring. "Well could you thank your mom for me, for the surprise dinner."

"Of course." I looked around her face. "Oh you have an oil spot on your face."

"What? Where?" She felt around her face.

I took my thumb and lightly wiped it away, "There I got it." I was sucked into her eyes. We both started leaning in, then I back away.

"Umm.." She but her lip, "see you tomorrow." She looked down and started walking towards her truck.

What was I doing? No! Just do it! "Samantha!!" She stopped and turned around. I ran out into the rain to her. I looked at her and then I smashed my lips on to hers. She put her arms around my neck as I put mine around her waist. This was it. The thing that flipped the switch. The thing that made everything clear. She was meant to be in my life and I wasn't going to do anything to push her out of it.
