It was the next day, Draco and Narcissa were up early and were having breakfast. Draco had slept on the big couch that was in his room, he had to wake up a few times because the baby, whom he had yet to name for according to his mother the baby didn't have a name because Diana- he had learnt her name, wanted him to name her. Draco and Narcissa had decided to feed the babygirl some milk, thanking merlin that the girl had at least given them the bottle.

The two were up early so that they could go to Diagon Alley and make a few necessary purchases for the baby, before Draco left for Hogwarts.

Draco was up last night, barely sleeping, he was thinking about what could he name his baby. He knew he wanted it to be different. After a lot of thought, he had a name, now he only needed his mother's approval, sort of.

"I've thought of a name for her," Draco said, catching Narcissa's attention, who was feeding the little girl some milk.

"Eliana Malfoy, and Ella could be her nickname" Draco looked up at his mother, who smiled softly before looking down at the girl in her hands and cooed at her, "Welcome to the family little Eliana."

Draco felt relief go through his body, he smiled a small smile at the interaction, before he finished his breakfast. By the time the two were finished with breakfast, Eliana or Ella was asleep, Narcissa had laid her down on Draco's bed and instructed Willy- the house elf to look after her.

Draco and Narcissa had agreed that it would be suspicious if they were seen with a baby, where anyone could acknowledge their presence. Thus, they had decided rather reluctantly to leave Eliana  back at home and keep the trip short and quick.

The mother and son duo flooed their way to Diagon Alley, their first stop was Madam Malkin's, much to Draco's dismay, but Narcissa could not have her granddaughter not dressing up nicely.

"Mother, can we not start with something else?" Draco said as they walked into Madam Malkin's.

"Don't be foolish Draco, we'll have to be here eventually, why not start from here." Narcissa was determined and was not straying from her decision.

The two went through almost the entire store before they left.

"Do you think we went a bit over board?" Draco gave a soft chuckle at the number of bags he had in his hands, his mother didn't agree with him, albeit the smile on her face told him otherwise.

"Maybe a little" Narcissa agreed, chuckling to herself when she saw Draco struggling with the bags.

The next stop was where they got the necessities, and a few extra things such as a few toys, and the softest of towels and blankets for the little girl.

Draco and Narcissa spent nearly 3 to 4 hours in the Diagon Alley, as they looked thoroughly through the things that they had got, to ensure that everything was the best.

As much as Narcissa tried to control her emotions, she was excited. She had not felt such giddiness since Draco grew up, not that she would admit it, not right now at least. She had always dreamt of having grandchildren to look after, not this early but she definitely had hoped for them when Draco was maybe a bit more of age.

Draco and Narcissa were slightly guilty of taking so long, when they came back to the Manor, they were welcomed with the cries of a baby echoing in the Manor. The two quickly rushed to Draco's room where Eliana was resting before they had left, when they entered the room, they saw Willy frantically trying to calm down the crying child.

Narcissa moved to check why the baby was crying, she had a hunch, and she right. The baby needed a change of nappy.

"Aww, we'll get you changed. I'm sure your father won't mind." Narcissa said as she rocked the crying baby, looking at Draco with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Draco rolled his eyes, he knew she was only playfully punishing him for his actions, but what Narcissa didn't know what that Draco had achieved the art of nappy changing.
