It had been a few months since Yule.

Eliana was now almost six months old. The girl could sit with a little help from her father.

She had also started rolling to her left and right and would sometimes do that when Draco was trying to tape up the diaper. Making him give out a frustrated sigh, while she giggled.

But how could Draco stay mad at his little Ella?

Draco often wondered if he should be sad or happy that Ella was the youngest among the lot.

He would sigh a little sadly when Lucia and Isabella would do things, like sit and crawl towards their father's. But then he would smile triumphantly when he saw Blaise and Theo frantically running around with their daughters when they were teething.

Ella being younger gave Draco the advantage of preparing for things in a little advance.

So when the hurricane came, he at least had an umbrella for protection ready.

It was a Tuesday morning in the month of March, when Draco was rushing to the hospital wing with a crying Ella in his arms.

"Shh shh, calm down little one" He tried to soothe her, but to nothing seemed to work on the upset girl.

A little earlier

Draco was woken up in the middle of the night due to Ella crying, thinking it was because of hunger, he started preparing a bottle of warm formula milk.

Draco took the bottle to the crib and held it out for Ella, "Here darling" he sighed, his voice a little gruff and croaky from having just woken up.

The girl nibbled on the rubber tip rather than drinking it, her small hands rubbing her ears, which were a little red.

It took a few minutes for Draco to realise that Ella was indeed not having the milk, he picked her up and took her to his bed. A bad habit, but he just couldn't help himself.

It was when he placed her down, did he notice the light redness of her ears, and the drool on her chin.

"You're teething!" He exclaimed, as if Ella would understand what he was saying.

Thanking Merlin that he had some knowledge about what to do, when it happens, Draco massaged Ella's gums a little. Which did soothe the little crying girl.

He would constantly wipe away the drool, so that it wouldn't leave a rash, and try and gave Ella a teething toy, on which she could try and chew.

Draco rushed to Madam Pomfrey.

"She's teething" he exhaled, stopping in front of the nurse.

"Well, at least someone knows what their baby is going through," the nurse muttered under her breath.

Draco was given a paste, which he had to apply on Ella's gums twice in a day, it would help with the pain.

The teething phase passed away rather peacefully after that, the paste helped a lot.
