Katie POV

"And from then on, I've been helping the Autobots in their war against the Decepticons. We've practically became family."

As I finished, I noticed that my family and the Rescue Bots were staring at me and Barricade, shocked.

"So all this time you've been with the Autobots. And you never told us?" Graham asked.

"Guys what could I do. If I'd known that you knew the Autobots, then I would have come home and told you. Their secret wasn't mine to tell. Besides, I was on the Decepticons wanted list. If I'd come back, the Cons would have followed. I can't risk lives like that. Please, you have to understand that."

Cade decided to get cocky. "We could have handled them."

Barricade finally decided to say something. "Cade, is it? Look, the Decepticons are ruthless. They kill Autobots, even their own allies, mercilessly. They despise the human race. So what makes you think for one second, that they wouldn't kill you in a sparkbeat. Believe me, I was once a Decepticon myself, but I saw the error of my ways, and changed."

"Then if you were a Decepticon, then you-" Cade began, but didn't finish.

"Cade, that's enough. They explained where she's been all this time willingly. That's all we need to know. Besides he saw his wrong doings and decided to change. That's good enough for me." Dad, always the wise one. He turned to me. "What's important to me is that your home and you are safe."

He walked up and hugged me.

As we hugged I saw the red Autobot, Heatwave, have a strange look in his eyes. I mean optics.

He walked over to my father and whispered something in his ear. Dad glanced at me, looked back at him, and nodded.

Heatwave walked up to me and asks, "Katie, can I talk to you in private please."

I found it strange, but agreed anyway. He held out his hand (servo) for me to climb on. I got on and we walked down the underground tunnels.
