• Narrated by Yuchan •

The moon shines brightly over the blackened sky.  The stars punctuate gently in the sky, their brightness twinkling happily over my eyes, like smiling children.  A peace takes me, making a wide smile escape my lips, but it soon disappears when I notice Eunji's presence.  The girl approaches, dressed in a simple, long white dress.  The image of her in Junhee's arms, her lips glued to his, takes my mind roughly, taking away all the peace that emanated from me.  It's been a week since I returned, a week that I met Kim in the halls of Trakzus' palace.

Our mother decided to propose a sophisticated dinner in honor of my return.  And the entire courtyard of the palace is filled with tables, occupied by the entire court.  There is food, music, dance and drink, the moonlight party takes place in a peaceful way.  My sister walks towards me, smiling kindly at everyone who greets her.  She stops beside me, offering me the sweetest smile, as in all the times we have argued, Eunji cannot keep negative feelings for so long.  And I admire you for that.

— What there was? — Her smile disappeared when she saw me.

— I'm sorry, but I'm still upset about everything that happened. — Eunji brings my face close to mine and places a light seal on my cheek.

— Please forgive me.

I can't be angry like that.  Heavens!  This girl has me in her hands.  The smile takes my lips again, and I surrender to her and the good feelings that have arisen.  I am currently made up of highs and lows of feelings.

— So you're going to walk away from him?

— I still love him, and I want to go back.

— Look what he did to you, Eunji!  — I say through my mouth, feeling the anger rising in my head.  - He is our enemy and you should choose me, I have been fighting for you all this time, keeping me alive to fulfill the promise I made you!  What are my feelings for you?

— Chan, I ... — Eunji starts, but Seo Kwan approaches.

— I hope everything is fine here.  — he says, casting a glance at all of the court around us.  — I don't know what happened, but it's not the best time for that.

— I'm sorry — I say harshly.

He takes a deep breath and starts a new subject:

— How did you feel about being in charge of an army?  — he asks, a servant with drinks serving passes us, and he, like me and my sister, grabbed a glass of champagne.

— I learned a lot about the motto of our kingdom.  Mostly, the part about family loyalty. — I pronounce each word slowly, Eunji looks at me and I realize he got the message: I'm still upset with her.

— Tell me more — he encourages.

— As I said at one of the war council meetings, Prince Park Junhee is in charge of the armies and is behind the battle strategies.  He seems to be well educated in this area, and I confess that I was surprised.  His strategy for us to slaughter was really good.

I glance at the girl who is in silence, looking at me with a sad face reminiscent of her most recent pains.

— You sent us a letter telling us about Trakzus' union with Sokwez, tell me more about it — Seo Kwan's eyes are attentive to my every move, he is completely immersed in the conversation.

— Park Junhee and Kim Nari were married by joining their kingdoms and armies against ours.  This alliance is to strengthen both economically, and also in war, since Trakzus needed reinforcements and this alliance will continue even after the war.  I believe that the youngest couple must have already consummated the marriage in order to get an heir, to further strengthen the alliance between kingdoms.
