Chapter 1

"Alexus I'm going for my run, alright?" I said. "Okay, just hurry so I'm not alone forever." "Gotcha, when I get back well go get some La Madeline." I laughed. "Omg YAAASSSS!!" She hugged me. I left and put my headphones in and started to jog to the park. Loyal by Chris brown started playing so I laughed at it and skipped the song. About 15 minutes of just running around and listening to music I decided it was time to go back home. On the way I ran into a tall figure and almost fell but the person caught me. I looked up to see the one person I didn't want to be here Jack Gilinsky. I started to walk off but of course knowing him I can't get away with that. "Are you going to say sorry?" He asked pulling me back to him. "I'm sorry jack I didn't see you there, I honestly apologize." i tryed my best to be polite because I knew he would make up a horrible rumor about me at school. Even though we are seniors he just wants to be so immature. And for his slut of a girlfriend she's just so childish. "That's better babe" he winked. "First off I'm not ur babe and second why are you here?" I questioned him. "I needed some air, how about you why are you here?" "Just getting in shape for volleyball, well I gotta go Im about to go to La Madeline so bye" "Wait can I join?" Woah did Jack Gilinsky just ask to come to my house and go to eat with me?"
"Yes I did" he laughed. "What?" I said confused. "You were thinking out loud chey" he said and wow nicknames now that's not okay. "Why are you being nice to me all of a sudden is Madison trying to plan something on me" i asked him looking around "Please I wouldn't do that to you" he sounded sincere. "Fine I guess you can join but just so you know I have to take a shower and get ready first so your gonna have to wait with Alexus." I stayed truthfully.
We walked back to my house, I typed in the passcode to the gate and waited for it to open so we could walk through, finally waiting patiently it opened far enough for us to walk through. "Woah your house is huge we should trough a party here" he elbowed me i scooted away from him and said "No thanks I love my house the way it is I don't need my parents to refurnish it" I gave him a fake smile and walked faster and finally made it to the door. "Alexus im back" I yelled loud enough for her to here. "Yay can we go now I'm starving" she said while running down the stairs faster than normal. When she looked up and seen who was behind me her eyes almost fell out of her head. I walked up to her "what's he doing here, you know we can't trust him" she whispered eyeing him up and down annoyed. "I know but I don't know I just felt generous enough to let him join for just this one time." I told her walking up the stairs to my room. "Jack come up here" I told him after awhile of him just standing there in aww of my humongous house. "Coming" he said still looking around "seriously Chey you should let me through a small party here pretty please" he begged "No your party's are to outrageous" I scoffed. Does he really think I'm gonna let him destroy my house and just because he wants to have a party here. I can't believe him I don't know why I even agreed to let him tag along for dinner. I finally made it to my room and ran to my walk in closet and grabbed a purple skater skirt, white love crop top, and white vans. "I'm taking a fast shower I need 30 minutes" I yelled at the 2 people waiting in my room, why he's in my room I don't know I told him to wait in the upstairs living room but it's whatever. I turned on my speaker and phone and played some random music for my shower, I jumped in and did my normal shower routine jumped out and dryed off I brushed my hair and blow dryed it then brushed my teeth and left my hair naturally straight, I put on my outfit and put in a random anchor belly button peircing and sparkly headband. "Alright guys I'm ready" I said walking out of my bathroom. I noticed Jack on my bed watching tv. "Where's Alexus?" I asked curious on why he's was in here and not my best friend practically sister. "She went to the living room I think" he said furrowing his eyebrows still starting at the tv. I grabbed the remote and turned the tv off "lets go IM hungry I said grabbing my phone from inside the bathroom I walked back out and he went wide eyed, I looked at him confused "What, do I look bad?" I frowned and looked down at my outfit. "No you look the opposite of bad you look nice" he complimented me then my eyes went wide "did he just compliment me" I thought to myself. "yes I did Cheyenne" he smirked at me, oh no did I think out loud again. "You think out loud to much, you should stop" he laughed "HAHA very funny lets go IM starving, and does Madison know your here and why if so because I don't need anymore drama seriously Jack" I said waking out of my room grabbing some money. "She doesn't know and won't find out I promise no more drama Cheyenne" he said and put his large hand on my lower back, im not gonna lie I would love for it to stay there but he has a girlfriend and he's a player I can't do this so I slowly removed it, he looked at me confused and frowned. "Come on girl were going" I told Alexus Turing the light and tv off walking down the stairs. We made it to the garage door from inside the house and I turned the lights on "Alexus which car?" I asked her " I don't care Jack can choice since he's the guest" she smiled a fake smile "Jack?" I said "Oh uh sorry, dang so many options" he said looking around at the Audi R8, corvettes, Cameros, range rovers, and escalades. "Let's take that one" he pointed to the white stingray corvette. "Jack that's only a 2-seater we won't fit" i said sadly because that's my favorite car, it's literally my baby. "It's fine one of u can sit in my lap" he winked at us "Umm no thanks" Alexus said and texted someone on her phone "fine the how about the Audi it's a 5-seater right?" He questioned me. "Yeah that's fine" I laughed "do you wanna drive" I smirked at him laughing "duhh" he said really girly I laughed and heard Alexus snicker from behind us. I threw Jack the keys and we headed to the car Lex got in the back seat I was headed to the door when someone beat me to it I looked up and seen Jack holding the door for me, wow he's being so nice it's weird I hopped in anyways. He laughed and shut the door and ran to his side, he got in and started the car I reached over him and grabbed the garage key he looked at me and smirked I just shrugged it off and open the big door in front of us.

On the way to the way to the restraunt I noticed lex had fallen asleep in the back seat. I turned to Jack and smiled I don't know why but all of a sudden I got butterflies when he smiled back at me, I blushed and turned to face the window, he grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers I felt my face heat up even more but I couldn't do this he has a girlfriend and as much as I decpize Madison I wouldn't do that to her to know she will just give me hell. I took my hand away from his and looked out the window, I could see from the corner of my eye lex was smirking at me I decided to text her about it

"We're here" Jack said as we pulled into an empty parking space. "Yay I thought I was gonna starve" Alexus said me and Jack just laughed at her. They both jumped out of the car I looked at the confused and relized I dropped my wallet in the floorboard then next thing I knew my door flys open and jacks standing there with his hand out I finally found my wallet and took his hand and stepped out and didn't wanna hold his hand for long so as soon as he shut the door I let go and said "Jack you have a girlfriend, you can't keep doing this I understand it's a nice gesture and all I just don't want to be lead on and hurt by you and I have a strange feeling that's going to happen" I frowned and walked off but like I said before you can't get away with that. He grabbed me by my arm and pulled me into his chest and gently placed his lips on mine I didn't waste no time kissing back and this is so cliche but I know I felt sparks when he kissed me, before we knew it started to rain and we finally pulled away. We ran up to the covered sidewalk to where lex was and smiled he whispered in my ear " I broke up with Madison, that's why I was at the park trying to hide from her" he said, I was so shocked I took a step back and looked into his beautiful eyes and then he took off his black SnapBack and placed it on my head backwards, I guess it's a good thing I took that headband off in the car.
