Marisol groaned as she woke up, snuggling more into the bed.
For a split second, she wondered if being in hell had been a dream but she realized that no. That wasn't the case, the bed was far too big, sheets far too warm and cozy and the pillows too plush for it to be her rinky dink apartment on Earth.
"Morning sleeping beauty" She heard Wrath said and she grumbled, burying her face into the pillow and yanking the blankets over her head.
"Aren't you a chipper morning person?" Wrath said with a snicker and Marisol peaked out,
"This is the best bed I've ever slept in, I don't want it to end"
"And it won't...probably for quite a while, you wanted to explore the town today didn't you?"
Marisol perked up, climbing out of bed and Wrath's lip twitched,
"There we go"
"Oh hush" Marisol said, swatting Wrath's arm gently and she grabbed some clothes before looking at Wrath, "I'm gonna take a bath, can you sit on the other side of the door and keep me company?"
Wrath seemed shocked, "I mean...uh...sure?"
"You're not used to people being kind to you are you?"
"Well I'm Wrath"
Marisol shrugged, "So?" she asked and headed to the bathroom, closing the door behind her and she smiled when she heard Wrath sit on the other side of the door. She quickly ran a bath and took her nightgown off before climbing in, mumbling happily at the warm water.
"Doing okay in there?" Wrath called and Marisol hummed,
"It's warm! Better than my apartment on Earth"
"What's Earth like?"
"Shit"
Wrath snorted, "Guess I won't be making day trips any time soon" he said which made Marisol giggle.
Marisol started rambling. About her friend Jon, about the shitty diner she worked at, her one creep co-worker, how she missed flowers already and about movies.
"Movies sound fun" Wrath said, "The sins go to earth sometimes...mostly for business"
"Wait, the others sins are real too?"
"Mhmm...Envy is actually pretty nice"
Marisol smiled a bit. Getting out of the bath and wrapping a soft towel around herself to dry off before she put the clothes she'd brought on and opened the door, Wrath looking up at her.
"Hey" Wrath said,
"Hey" Marisol said, smiling warmly at him, "Time to go?"
"As you wish" Wrath said, standing up and walking off, Marisol quickly running after him to the town.
