Y/N was currently lying on his bed waiting for a reply from Joaquin who had not answered her for 2 hours when he was supposed to have completed his undercover mission long before. Y/N was a little worried when she noticed that he was not answering because he had gone on a mission because Sam asked him to learn things about the intentions of the Flag Smashers. She got up and noticed that she still had no answer from him the hundredth time she looked at her phone. She stepped into her room and decided to call Sam to ask him about Joaquin, but unfortunately, he did not answer, which made her scream in exasperation.

"Why do they have a phone if they don't use it?" Y/N asked herself and suddenly she heard her bell ringing. She rushed to the door and when she opened it, she met Joaquin's soft eyes surrounded by bruises.

"Y/N, I am-" Joaquin began to speak, but when he noticed Y/N's gaze, he fell silent immediately.

"I've called you 17 times in the last two hours and I've sent you a bunch of messages. Don't you ever look at your phone?" Y/ N told him, and she gently took his arm to take him to her couch. She sat him down and immediately went into the bathroom to get bandages and alcohol. She tried to hold back her anxiety and her anger, but it gnawed at her. She sat next to him when she had everything she needed, and she took his cheek in her hand to make him look at her and started disinfecting the wound.

"I'm really sorry I didn't answer your calls and messages, but I had to answer Sam. And I know what you are going to say, yes I called him to make my report to him but not you because I knew it would make you even more stressed to know that I was hurt and that you couldn't do anything because I wasn't there yet." Joaquin explained but he grimaced when Y/N applied alcohol to his wound.

"It's an excuse that will only work this time Torres, next time I want you to call me as soon as you can." Y/N told him, then she put a little more alcohol on another wound while giving him a warning look.

"Personally, I hope that there will not be a next time." Joaquin teased Y/N while playing with her hair with his hand.

"What happened to you?"

"A Flag Smashers lifted me up and crashed me to the ground. It was clearly a super soldier." Joaquin explained while Y/N applied ointment to his black eye.

"So, the Flag Smashers are actually super soldiers robbing banks? Interesting. Y/N told him while she closed the pot of ointment and Joaquin looked at all her movements carefully.

"It would be if one of them hadn't broke my brow bone." Joaquin made a joke, but Y/N didn't even smile at his joke because she was too upset to think about laughing.

Y/N walked away for a few seconds to take the bandages, but Joaquin could feel that she was outstretched, so he gently took her hand which was holding the bandage and with his other one, he placed it on her hip and, he gently brought her closer. She stared at him for a few seconds before getting to work and placing the bandage with hearts above his eyebrow. She looked at him for a few seconds before placing a kiss on his cheek before walking away and pretending nothing had happened. He looked at her confused for a moment and then gave her a sweet smile.

"You look cute with that bandage, you know?" Y/N told him and she went to her bathroom to put away the disinfectant and retrieve a towel. When she turned around in the bathroom, Joaquin was at the doorway laughing at her words.

"Am I not always cute?" Joaquin teased her and Y/N laughed and took a clean towel and threw it at Joaquin's head.

"I'll answer that question when all of the blood who is on you will have disappeared." Y/N answered him with amusement, and she came out of the room while he winked at her and closed the door.

"What an idiot."
