4 Pool lesson

I was wrong. It was the next morning and was currently running around the apartment searching for my swimsuit. After doing through the documents Aizawa sent me, I learned that I had my first swim class with the students today.

Is it what he meant by be prepared? Why would they give me the swim class right the second day? Can't they wait a little?

But what did I thought UA High school would be like. They're all working like machines to be the very best, so it was only expected that if I chose this school I would have to manage to keep their pace and adjust quickly.

I didn't mind teaching the swimming lessons but the last time I went to the beach or pool was when I myself was in high school. And let's say my body proportions changed since then so the swimsuit I found in the back of my closet didn't fit exactly the way I wanted to.

I will have to at least put a shirt over it to avoid accidentally flashing the kids. This solution calmed me down but I was still running out of time, so I quickly shoved the swimsuit and shirt inside the school bag and ran out of the apartment.

After finally finding the school's pool I ran in, panting and apologizing to the students who were already in their swimsuits but mostly to the not amused man who was standing next to the line-up of kids.

Aizawa dismissed my apologies with a monotone 'go change' and with that I quickly walked to the changing rooms. Aizawa had his normal clothes on so he will definitely not help me with the class or at least with the technical part.

When I came back in my swimsuit and shirt, I was met with kids' confused faces and some looked... disappointed? Before any questions could be asked, Aizawa rose from his seat at the side of the pool and came to us.

"As I said yesterday, she will teach you, so listen to her like you would to me. Ms. L/N you can start class on your own, I have to make some calls."

So I WILL do all the work here. After seeing that I understood his orders, Aizawa went out of the doors.

I looked back at the kids who were expectantly waiting for my orders. From their schedule I knew that they were supposed to train how to quickly move in the water in today's lesson and at the end of the lesson they would be timed.

"So, we are going to be timing your swimming today. But first, we should stretch to prevent any injuries." Some of the kids groaned but moved to form a half-circle around me to instruct them on what stretches they should do.

Even though they weren't fond of the idea of stretching, they all obediently listened to my instructions. After seeing the kids do a few practice laps, I moved onto correcting their swimming techniques to help them be faster.

I was glad that I was on the swim team in high school because I wouldn't be able to help these kids at all if I didn't have four years of intensive training behind me.

My parents wanted me to be an active child so they would sign me to all kinds of extracurricular activities. Most of it was sports but I didn't mind. Sometimes it was too much for me and I would drop out after half a year. Swimming and softball were the only two sports that I did all through high school.

I liked softball the most and swimming I had to do even if I didn't want.
