Jade still found it a odd seeing her toiletries sitting in Dan's bathroom. Their toothbrushes sharing the same pot, and her shampoo and conditioner next to his shampoo and shower gel combo. All her skin care products were lined up on the dresser lining the wall of their bedroom, under the TV. A mixture of both their clothes covered the floor. She was glad they were as messy as each other. The laundry basket in the bathroom was overflowing, and as she got out the shower and brushed her teeth, she realised it was definitely a chore day. Dan was still on a run with Joe, and probably wouldn't finish up with Joe until later.  She shimmied into yesterdays jeans, and and headed to the kitchen with the basket, filled mainly with Dan's sweaty workout gear. She put the wash on, and busied herself with preparing brunch according to Joe's meal guidelines. She was dancing about the kitchen to her music as she scrambled eggs and toasted a stack of bread when Dan and Joe came back in, towels draped around both their shoulders.

"You cooked?" Dan asked as he dropped a kiss on her cheek.

Jade winked her nose at his clammy face, "Thought you might be hungry. Can you sort coffee?" Jade said as she set the toast down on the dining table by the windows.

Joe was already sat down, and reached for a slice, "You're an angel!"

Jade snorted at him, "Juice or coffee?"

"Coffee please," Joe said helping himself to the scrambled eggs Jade had just placed on the table. "Watch the sugar in yours Dan," He called spying Dan adding a second spoon of sugar to one of the mugs.

"This one is Jades!" He protested, winking at Jade who had come to grab one of the unsugared cups for Joe.

She smiled and shook her head at her boyfriend, but allowed him to use her as a cover.

"How was the run?" she said, sitting down at the tables and helping herself to some food before Dan and Joe inevitably finished it all.

"Yeah good, worked up a pretty good sweat," Dan said, bringing the last two mugs of coffee to the table.

"I can see that," Jade laughed, a raised eyebrow at her boyfriend.

Dan laughed, "You love it really," he said, leaning over to kiss her.

Jade rolled her eyes, "I wish you didn't have to go through so many clothes, that bloody laundry basket is FULL!"

"Oh yeah i need to do a wash," Dan said between mouthfuls.

"Already sorted," Jade smirked after she swallowed a bit of breakfast.

"ahh thats why i love you!" Dan grinned at her.

"ugh, be soppy with each other when i'm not here thanks," Joe said around a mouthful of toast. "The eggs are really good by the way."

"Thanks," Jade smiled. "Also will you check out what I've planned for the next few dinners? I don't want them to fuck up Dan's plan," She returned to the table, with the notepad with the list of meals for the week that was attached to the fridge.

They ate the rest of their meal too much laughter and lots of music changes, Dan and Jade could never settle on must they both liked. By the time Joe left, they'd polished off the meal, and the washing machine cycle had ended.

While Dan showered, Jade loaded the dishwasher and did a second load of laundry, before changing into her PJs. and dumping herself on the couch in front of the TV with her laptop resting on her crossed legs. Dan, clearly having the same idea as her, joined her in his pyjamas, his hair still wet from the shower.

"What ya working on?" He asked, as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

"Just board exam prep," Jade answered as she answered typed a text on her laptop to a friend. "Allegra and I are planning to test each other on face time."
