Clarke's pov

"Lex do you want to go to the mall tonight?" I asked smiling.

Ever since what happened last Friday Lexa and I grew closer. I was gay and she was not. Which really complicated things, I wanted us to get closer on a romantic level while she wanted to be closer on a more platonic level. Or I thought. She kept sending me mixed signals. I could see how she blushed every time I flirted with her and I could see the way she looked at me. But I knew she wasn't ready to admit it and I wasn't going to push her.

"Sure I would love to." She said smiling.

Her smile. That would be number one on the list of things I loved about her. Her smile had the power to light up a room, it was so contagious.

"I was thinking maybe you could sleep over at my house after." I said smiling.

"Okay." She said giggling.

Her laugh. That would be number two on the list of things I loved about her. Her laugh was cute but real. She wasn't shy when she was laughing and that was one of the reason why I loved it so much.

"Did you study for the french exam?" I asked hopefully.

"Oui, je vais tout déchirer." She said smirking cockily.

I wish she spoke french more often because it was so hot.

"What did you say?" I asked drooling.

"I said, yes I am going to kill it." She said smiling.

"Ugh. I am so going to fail." I said whining.

"You still have time the exam is in two days." She said trying to cheer me up.

"I like it when you speak french." I said as my eyes lit up.

"Really?" She asked blushing.

I nodded slowly while a smile spread across my face.

"Parce que je peux te parler en français plus souvent." She said smirking.                                                  (Because I can talk to you in french more often.)

I had no idea what she just said but god, it was like music to my ears.

"I really got to get to geometry but I will see you later Clarke." She said standing up.

"Bye Lex." I said as she walked away.

I was falling for a 'straight' girl and it sucked.

I quickly got to science and sat next to Echo.

"Hey." She said smiling.

"Hi." I said not really paying attention.

"How are you?" She asked.

I was too caught up in my mind to answer her so I just nodded slightly, which made no sense.

"How are you and Lexa?" She asked smirking.

Now she had my attention and she knew it.

"What about us?" I asked faking a confused look on my face.

"I mean did you guys go on a date yet?" She asked still smirking.

This little bi-.

"What do you mean Echo? Lexa is a hundred percent straight. Plus Finn likes her and they might date so don't get your hopes up weirdo." She said looking at me when she pronounced the last sentence.

"First I don't like Lexa like that. Second even if Lexa wasn't straight why would it matter? And third if you were really Lexa's best friend you would've asked her what happened last Friday." I said turning my chair to look at her.
