( Chapter 7. The Alliance)

That night.....

Rosé was walking in the streets, she was wearing her backpack and she was still in her school uniform.

The streets were packed with full people.

She reached a very dark alley which was a shortcut going home.

She didn't mind the darkness and kept walking however, two people cornered her.

Rosé looked to see clearly who it was.

It turned out to be Dahyun and Jennie.

"Well well well.. Look who's here." Jennie muttered

"Are you happy now that Taetae is siding on you?" Dahyun slowly walked closer to her with a threatening look on her face.

"I didn't want him to be. But he certainly has to."

"Don't think that if he's going to become your connivance, you will then own his heart."

"Are you going to be jealous? Then be jealous because anytime soon Tae will fall for me." Rosé teased.

Dahyun's expressions changed to extreme anger and jealousy.

"That is indeed possible." A deep voice spoke behind them.

It was Taehyung, then he wrapped his arm around Rosé shoulder.

"Taetae...Why are you doing that?" Dahyun felt pissed off seeing the view in front of her.

It pissed her more when Rosé smiled.

"Come on Dahyun.. Don't waste your time on them." Jennie pulled her.

The two of them walked away feeling annoyed.

This time Taehyung let her go and pulled her by her wrist.

He brought her to a nearby café.

They sat across each other, and Taehyung placed down two frappucinos.

"How did you know I was there. Were you following me?" Rosé asked

"Enough with the confidence Chae. I was driving my car nearby then I happened to see you." Taehyung replied

"That's a good thing. It was almost as if Dahyun was going to kill me."

"With her jealousy? And I can't believe what you just told her. That I was going to fall for you anytime soon." Taehyung chuckled silently.

"Tss... And what? You also told her that it was possible."

Taehyung kept chuckling.

The he stared at her with sincere eyes.

"Anyways... Where are the evidences? Did you bring them with you?" Taehyung this time became serious.

Rosé took her backpack and got the brown envelope inside.

She then placed it on top of the table.

"Here.. you can look at it." She said.

Taehyung looked at the envelope, then opened it.

He saw that there were pictures.

The pictures were showing Jisoo being tortured by Jennie and her friends.

And the CD marked with "Henry's death"

"Thank you. But where did you get all of these?" Taehyung asked.

"It was sent to me anonymously. Strange thing is.. How did they even get the pictures of Jisoo at school? And recorded your father's death?"

"We have to find out about this. I'll ask Mr. Jo to look into it as well."

Rosé nodded.

Then he noticed how Taehyung was now really serious of his objective.

She saw herself waiting to strike back at the right time for the death of her sister.

She was her everything. Ever since they grew up in the orphanage they couldn't separate so their foster father adopted them both.

Taehyung noticed Rosé staring blankly ahead.

"Hey... from now on...I'll be by your side and together let's fight them."

"That's easy for you to say. You're powerful and rich Taehyung. While me? I'm just a nobody, a poor girl who grew up with no parents."

"And that's why you need me and I need you."

Rosé looked at Taehyung's eyes and she saw how it was full of hopefulness with a mixture of resentment and hatred.

She stood up and held out her hand.

"That's enough reason to convince me. I approve of that Tae."

Taehyung stood up and took her hand and shook it.

"Then our alliance begins from today on." He smiled
