Chapter 14 - Secrets unfold

Tony's POV

"Hey Banner, anything on Y/n's blood sample yet?"
"It's still processing....*clank* uhh well now it's not processing" Bruce said confused at he was looking at the equipment
"What do you mean," I say putting the papers down in front of me and walking over to Bruce "For a man who has 7 Ph.D.'s how do you not.....oh"

"I didn't break it I swear!" Bruce said putting his hands up
"No you didn't it just looks like we need more blood for the tests, that's why it stopped working," I say taking a look at the Machine
"Oh thank god," Bruce says letting out a big sigh of relief
"I'll go ask Y/n for some blood and in the meantime look over at what notes we have already!" I say grabbing what I need and walking out the lab door

"F.R.I.D.A.Y locate Y/n" I spoke, while on my way to the bedroom wing
"Y/n and Wanda are in guest bedroom 14, sir"
"Thank you, and F.R.I.D.A.Y change the name of the guest bedroom to Y/n's room for me will ya?"
"Yes sir,"

A few more minutes of walking later I finally got to Y/n's room, I could hear Wanda and Y/n talking and the TV on, so I suppose by the obvious talking that she was awake.
*knock, knock*
"Who's there?" I hear Wanda yell while giggling
"It's one of the Science bros, can I come in?"
"Which one!" Wanda yelled back
"The sassy one and technically I can just *opens the door and walks in* oh look at that" I laughed
"Hello, shell head" Y/n spoke
"Uhh, shell head? I'm offended" I say gasping and putting my hand on my chest in awe
"Told you it would work," Y/n says to Wanda laughing
"Well I'm glad you're feeling better, can I do a blood draw?" I asked Y/n
"I suppose, guess I should get used to this" Y/n says rolling up her sleeve to reveal past self-harm cuts.
"Uh, so what are you two watching?" I say trying to one make conversation two not acknowledge or ask about her cuts.
"Reign, it's one of my favorite shows on Netflix," Y/n says as I am taking her blood.
"Cool what's it's about?" I ask
"Well so far the only thing that had happened is Mary, the main character getting ready for her fiancé's sister's wedding," Wanda said
"We're still in the first episode, but it's about Mary, Queen of Scots and her journey in France with her fiancé, Francis, her ladies in waiting, and other stuff like murders and backstabbing. It's really interesting and good but I'm not the best at explaining things" Y/n spoke while acting like nothing was happening.
"Well maybe you can suggest it for movie night tonight," I say wrapping things up and getting a bandaid out.
"It's Thursday already?!" Wanda said
"Yup and there you go all done, thank you by the way," I say to Y/n while getting up and putting the equipment I used away.
"Didn't know you knew how to take blood, I thought you were just a smart ass" Y/n said putting her sleeve back down
"I do, how do you think I was able to insert Microchips into my arms so that my suit will connect and that I could summon it" I laughed while starting to walkout
"By the way, it's sassy smartass!" I yelled at them as I walked out the door and down the hall back to the lab.

"Got the goods!" I yell walking in
"Sweet!" Bruce said rushing over to Tony to grab the blood
"Find anything new?" I asked
"Yes actually, I went over Y/n's DNA again just to see how much had changed from when she was first here and well a normal human, to the most recent we have which was a couple of days ago," Bruce said adjusting his glasses
"And?"
"And the restructuring of her DNA should have caused her to get the powers of possible speed, force field, strength, and uh something else that I can't figure out. But this is just what record we have now, so who knows if one, is true or not and two, if it has changed since then." Bruce says now looking up at Tony
"Welp guess Y/n should pack," I say
"Why?"
"Cause if we're gonna find any answers about Y/n's condition, we're gonna need the source of her powers, and Loki and Thor already said it was Asgardian, so that's where they're going," I say before walking away leaving Banner shocked.

"Now time to spill some secrets Mark"

3rd POV

"Everyone ready?" Cap says into his earpiece
Everyone was outside of Mark's apartment building on Forestview ave, Clint was on the roof across the way, Nat and Loki were sitting in a black car across the street ready to go in, Steve was doing a perimeter check, and Tony was...well not there yet.
"All clear here cap," Clint says over comms
"Same here with Loki, god why am I doing this again?" Nat says annoyed
"Cause we need Loki to do an illusion so he can find as much as he can so we can get him into questioning, and you have had training like this," Cap responds
"Fine, let's just hope he's there" Nat eventually says giving up
"What are we supposed to say when he answers?" Loki questions
"God, men are stupid," Nat says shaking her head
"That you two are from child protective services, and you have some questions, simple" Steve replies

"Are you two going to keep talking or are we going to kick ass?" Tony states into comms as he flew up to everyone
"Ah, you made it, I was starting to think that you were gonna miss the show," Clint announced
"Never, everyone in position?" Tony spoke toward everyone
"You do realize that is what I was doing Stark," Steve said, jumping down from the fire exit staircase on the side of the building.
"Yup that's why I did it" Tony Laughed
"Whatever, Okay Nat, your up," Steve said giving the all-clear

Nat and Loki swiftly and appropriately got out of the car and walked up the staircase to apartment 7845.
*Knock, knock*
*silence*

*silence*
Nat turns around and talks into her earpiece, "Is he even here?"
"There's a single heat signature in the apartment, so I assume yes," Tony says landing on the roof.
"We need someone to get in there...*BANG*" Steve starts to say before getting cut off
"Okay, no more nice, nice," Nat says grabbing her gun from her thigh and clicking it into place
"Why don't I get a gun?" Loki whispered loudly into his earpiece
Nat rises from her fighting stance and makes stern eye contact with Loki and says "do you want me to name off how many people you've killed? You've killed 80 people in 2 days before!"
"Well, I'll never do it again!" Loki replies looking shocked and offended
"Just use your knives, and I swear if you stab me I'll roundhouse your ass and make sure you're in so much pain you would have wished you were dead already! I also can bring bruce into this..." Nat spoke getting up in Loki's face threatening him

*Only in Loki's earpiece*

"Loki I've known Nat for a Long time so best not to anger her," Clint says
"Yeah, Nat is scary when she is upset," Tony adds in
"You guys know I can hear you right?" Nat barges in scaring the two grown men.
"Oops, sorry Nat"
"Stop talking and get in there!" Steve says as he breaking the conversation
Loki flips his knives out while Nat thrusts the door open after 3 kicks, they go in and sweep the apartment for Mark with Steve and Tony right behind.
"He isn't here," Nat says stumped over comms
"I got eyes on him! He's running out the back entrance!" Said an unknown voice
"Who was that?" Steve said concerned
"Hold on? Underoos?"
"Guys you better hurry! I got him but my webs aren't gonna hold him for long!"
"KID WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Tony yells through comms
"I may have just been swinging through the neighborhood?"
"But patrol isn't for the next 2 hours!"
"Guys stop, we don't have the time, kid, go with Clint and transport Mark to the compound jail cell for questioning!" Steve urged
"Do I have permission to tranquilize him?" Clint asked
"Only if he causes problems," Steve said while looking through the grim dirty apartment

As Peter and Clint took Mark to the compound, Loki, Nat, Tony, and Steve stayed behind to look around, Tony went straight for Mark's computer (if he even had one), Loki didn't know what to so he was standing still while Nat and Steve looked around.
After looking around the living space Nat found Y/n's room...she thinks
"Oh my god, Y/n why didn't you tell us?" Nat whispered in disbelief to herself
"Guys You better get in here!" Loki yelled from the "living room"
"Why what's...." Steve starts to say but getts trailed off by what he sees before him
"Oh. My. God." Nat spoke as she walked in and let her eyes go immediately to what Loki was talking about.
Loki showed them a giant cargo box behind a bookshelf with the HYDRA symbol upon it.
"Oh shit...."
