Upon setting foot into the unknown busy village, (Y/n) and their three companions decided the first they should get food considering the orange hue sky. They settled in one of the restaurants and ordered a fest. While waiting on the food, they listened to the storyteller's tale.
"And for my next story, is a tale of the haunted forest. It is said that the forest to the east of our village has had many persons vanish; not a soul has ever returned. Until the day the great Tenma came to our village, like some of you in the crowd he was an Adventurer that heard the tales of the forest. He didn't believe a word that was spoken and entered the forest to prove nothing happened. When he entered the forest the atmosphere was tense and it was as if the darkness had surrounded you, but this did not stop the great Tenma for he continued onwards. It felt like hours passed for our young adventurer so he was about to leave, but then he saw a figure standing there, they had hair as white as snow, their skin almost as pale, but what left the most terrifying impression was the golden eyes staring at him as if it has cursed him. The great Tenma thought it was the end for him for he couldn't move a single muscle until a wild boar ran between him and the suspicious Spirit, freeing him from the curse. Without a second thought, he dashed back the way he came from without turning back and escape the craws of death."
(Y/n) silently listened to the story while eating their food as the storyteller finished his tale.
"Maybe we should go through the forest too." Masumi blurt out.
"You just heard him say the Great Tenma barely escaped." Izumi said.
"Don't worry, I'll protect you." Masumi gave her a small smile.
"It would be an interesting experience." Sakyo agreed.
"You too?" Izumi shaked her head before looking at (Y/n). "And what about you?"
"It is quite exciting to go." They chirped.
"Am I the only one who cares about our safety." She hanged her head down in defeat.
"Chin up, the first sign of trouble we'll leave." Sakyo input.
