Takes place after the battle of the labyrinth. Enjoy <3

Where was my son?

Now usually that's a question every mother should know and be able to answer, but not me.

I hadn't heard of any news about Percy since the mountain exploded and I wasn't even sure he was alive. Suddenly I hear my phone ring and jump to grab it.

"Mom?" I hear a voice on the other end of the phone.

"Percy!" I sigh in relief as I hear my sweet child's voice.

"Sorry I didn't call earlier, I was a little... occupied." He tells me. "How's it going with Paul?"

"It's going great Percy. Are you planning to come home now?" I ask him.

"Yea, about that. Would you mind if I brought a friend over?"

"Sure, why not. But whom?"

"Annabeth." He says and I can practically hear his blush through the phone. I knew my son liked her, it was no secret to anybody who knew him well. Honestly, I ship the two more than I should. But I can't help it! They're so adorable! (A/N We all stan queen Sally :))

"Mom?" He asks again. Whoops, I might have gotten a little carried away with my thoughts. "So... I can bring Annabeth right?"

"Huh? Yea of course you can Percy. When are you planning to be home by?" I ask anxiously.

"Tomorrow around 10am"

"Okay. I miss you honey! See you soon." I say before cutting the line.

I head to bed early that night excited to see my son and his soon-to-be girlfriend because we all know it's gonna happen.

I wake up at around 8am and eat some breakfast. I call Paul over as he wanted to meet Percy. I'm happy with Paul and I hope Percy will like him too. It would be nice to have Annabeth's approval too as I know she's a smart girl and she's like a daughter to me. Hopefully, eventually, daughter-in-law.

Paul and I had been chatting when we heard the doorbell ring. I practically leap up from my spot on the couch to the door opening it to see my son and his best friend. I hug the both of them tightly and they hug back. Even though they're both taller than me, I give a pretty mean hug.

"Mom." Percy wheezes. "Too tight." Annabeth laughs a little at Percy's red face when I let go of them.

"Hey Ms. Jackson." She says.

I sigh. "How many times have I told you to call me Sally, Annabeth. You're basically my daughter."

She blushes a little before saying; "Ok Ms. Ja- I mean Sally." Correcting herself quickly.

"Hi Paul." Percy says.

"Hi Percy." He replies. I know it seems a little weird, but I think Paul is almost scared of my son.

"Mom do you have cookies?" Percy asks.

"I didn't know you were coming until yesterday Percy, if I did then I would've baked you some." I sigh. My son will never grow up. He'll be the same when he's in his 30s I swear.

"Aww" He pouts. I suddenly have an idea.

"Why don't you and Annabeth make some cookies?" I ask him.

His smile immediately brightens. "Yeah!" He grabs Annabeth's hand and drags her to the kitchen. Paul and I go back to our room to let the two best friends spend time together.
