Kayla's P.O.V

finally...they discharged me and a.j and now we're home, before I could August got the baby and took him upstairs, I smiled because August is so happy about a.j ....I followed August watching him talk to a.j and when we got to the room aug started talking even more like he was gonna have a conversation with the baby....I leaned on the door frame and finished watching him, and a couple minutes later August slowly put him in the crib and turned the spinning thing on that had music with it....then he stood there and just leaned on the crib watching him, I walked over to them and watched our baby sleep too

August: he looks so peaceful

Me:*smile*

August:*wrapps his arm around my waist* a.j's born *kisses my temple* know what dat mean

Me: *smile* no

August:*smiling* what chu thinkin about

Me: can we not talk about this in his room

We walked out nd down stairs....

August: cmon we gone finish dis conversation

Me: a.j is born so now weeeeeeee can..................

August: ight one the count of three we say it at da same time

Me:*nod*

August:1...............2...........

Me: get married

August: fuck

My eyes got wide and I looked at aug with my mouth wide nd my hand on my heart leaned back a little bit

August: oh sorry .......of course get married

I closed my mouth and looked away going in the kitchen.......I know aug is tryin to hang in there for me because of the baby...but all he has to do is wait and there will be more baby makin😊

*2:00 in the morning*

Kayla's P.O.V

I was peacefully sleeping on Aug's chest and I just heard a whole lot of crying.........I opened my eyes and sucked my teeth, getting up...and going to the baby's room...., and I picked him up because he was crying really loud

Me:*raspy* mommy's here A.J

I was lightly rocking him I was trying to figure out what was wrong because I fed him before I put him to bed and his diaper was dry ....I sat down in the chair in his room still rocking him slowly and August came in and took him.... Doing the same exact thing I did and a.j stopped crying

Me: well I'll be damned

He put him down nd grabbed my hand and we walked in our room

Me: you two are gonna be really close

August: I figured dat

I laid down nd he pulled me next to him snuggling his face in my neck...

Me: are we gonna have to wake up everyday this early

August:maybe.....but it's worth it
