MORNING PRACTICE.

The team learned a lot about (name). Yesterday, after practice, they spent a good amount of time to ask more questions. Except the adults anyway.

They learned that (name) was not a human — this fact was rather obvious.

They learned that Kageyama was the first one to discover (name) on a very tiring day, the white haired male just so suddenly popped up with a lopsided grin. It was surprising for Kageyama, but he decided to ignore (name)... until Hinata saw him.

They learned that (name) was and probably still is a very good setter. He gave good advice not only to the setters, but to others, too.

They learned that (name) could disappear and reappear at will, and why they could see him was because they believed the person telling them. Hinata glanced at Yamaguchi who was minding his own business. Really, if Yamaguchi hadn't had the slightest trust in him, people would put him in an asylum.

Why (name) was there remained a mystery, even (name) didn't know why he was there. It was boring, Karasuno was boring him. Not anymore, though, because people - the volleyball team - can see him now.

"Let's start the practice!"

(name) plopped down next to Yachi, pulling one of his legs up on the bench. Curious eyes glued on the coach's back. Ukai felt it and decided it was best for him to ignore it.

"Yachi Hitoka, right?"

Yachi squeaked, turning to face (name) that was still busy staring at Ukai's back. She nodded nevertheless, her response earning a small smile of (name).

"Say, why do you think I'm stuck here?"

It was a rather heavy also unexpected question for Yachi, she tapped her pen on the clipboard she was holding while thinking. She had an idea as to why, but she was unsure of how well she could deliver her answer to (name).

"I have no idea, too, it's okay not to know." (name) sighed, feeling the pause was too long so he assumed Yachi didn't know - or at least couldn't come up with a logical reason. He stood up, stretching his arms out with a yawn, he walked up to Ukai and stood beside him.

"I thought your plan was to watch and not joining us in the court?" A gentle voice asked and, no, it wasn't Ukai, it was Shimizu. She had a ball in her hands, giving it to Ukai. Apparently they were practicing receive.

"I know, I'm just... I'm interested in your coach."

Ukai froze for a second before muting out (name)'s voice. Although, he was a bit curious. Why would (name) be interested in him if he lost his memories?

"Why so?" God bless Shimizu who was calm and didn't freak out at (name)'s blunt answer — maybe because she's straightforward herself.

(name) hummed, then walked up to Shimizu, standing beside her instead. A way so Ukai wouldn't eavesdrop on his conversation, and so he wasn't on the way.

"I feel like I know him... maybe he had seen me somewhere before, maybe I had seen him, but he didn't? He doesn't know me."

Ukai bit his inner cheek, fuck, how could he focus on giving the team the best practice if his mind was somewhere else. (name) moving slightly away from him was no use cause he could hear him clearly.

Before Shimizu could answer, Ukai beat her to it.

"I know you, (name)."

(name) was shocked, he scrambled to say something — anything — but none came out. Ukai know him. Like, really know him? He backed away from both Ukai and Shimizu, escaping from the court to sit beside Yachi again.
