PRIYA
Everything ached as she collapsed onto the sofa with her hands on her swollen belly. She was only just over three months gone but she felt like she was six at least. It was finally the night before the wedding, they'd been filming non stop this last week and the house had been full of friends and family, all well meaning but Priya was exhausted. Tai and Priya had decided to be traditional and spend the night before the wedding apart, with Tai staying at the hotel where the wedding was being held, and Priya staying at home. She was growing more and more fond of her own bed and the large array of pillows they had in it. Scarlett had offered to spend the night with her but she had decided just to spend one final night on her own, well with three little friends for company inside. Bobby was glad to have some help that night with the cake which he was assembling in the morning at the hotel, although Priya wasn't convinced that Scarlett wouldn't be more of a hinderance there!
Tai had cooked her dinner before he left, kissing her stomach three times, as he always did when he left the house. "Two kisses for my little girls, and one for my little boy," he'd called out as he headed into the taxi. "See you in the morning, future Mrs Kahu!"
Priya was too tired to do much tonight so had planned for a takeaway and watching her favourite movie before a soak in the bath and an early night. She deliveroo'd her order and threw her head back and closed her eyes. She was sure she was forgetting something she needed to do for tomorrow. The venue was dressed, and it was simply stunning, the clothes were all ready, the cake was in hand and the tables were all set for their formal sit down meal. They'd decided to book an amazing local band for the evening, and were having street food stalls for their guests. Closing her eyes, she tried to doze off as she waited for her food.
The sound of the doorbell woke her before she'd barely got to sleep. "That's quick," she said to her bump. "I guess they knew us four were hungry!" She was enjoying having more of an appetite and hadn't been sick in a few weeks now. She blearly wiped her eyes and opened the door, to find Mason stood on the doorstep.
"Can I come in?" he asked, nervously.
MASON
His palms were sweating, no one else ever made him feel this nervous as Priya did. The moment she'd left him for Tai in the villa he'd been crushed. Of course, in his usual fashion, he'd dealt with it all the wrong way and instead of trying to win her back he called her a slag and punched Tai. She looked tired, but still was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen.
"Ummm, okay..." she replied, stepping back from the door. "Everything okay?"
"Yeah, I just wanted to....can we sit down?" he asked and she pointed him into the living room. They sat at opposite ends of the sofa. "How are the babies?"
"They're good, it was a shame you couldn't come to the last scan," she said.
"Yeah, sorry, I was out the country, lad's holiday. Two girls and a boy, that's cool," he said.
"All growing well at the moment, most importantly," Priya said, cooly. "Look, I'm not trying to be rude, but what do you want? You seem barely interested in the babies, you crashed our weekend with strippers, why are you here?"
Mason suddenly burst into tears and buried his face in his hands.
"What is it? Has something happened?" Priya asked, scooting a little nearer.
"I'm so scared," he sobbed.
"Of what? Has someone threated you or something?" Priya asked him, placing her hand on his knee.
"I'm so scared....of being a father and getting it all wrong," Mason blurted out. "Tai just seems to know what to do and what to say and I'm....if they're mine I'm going to get it all wrong."

RomanceBOOK 2/3 Keeping Up With The Kahus is a short story that takes place after my first full length book Survival of the Fittest: Love Island Game Fanfiction. I would definitely recommend reading that first for this story to make sense and to understand...
