It was the first Corida of Manolo, wich was supposed to be a blessing gift for the come back of Maria Sanchez, the love of both Joaquin and Manolo. The two gods of death Xibalba and La muerte were both eager to see the incoming development of their wager between the tree kids that now had grown up to became adult. Has the public start to acclaimed the entrance of the hero, the two ancient god of death both came to a alt on the top of the building observing the festivities and both their champion.
After that, perfect in time Joaquin made his entrance in the stade riding a horse and showing his skills. At this view Xibalba say with a lot of enthusiasm : This is my champion !!!
which earned him a look of disapproval from La muerte but Xibalba doesn't mater. After the fighter pass all the spectator were acclaming him. However after Joaquin sit himself beside the general Posada waiting for Manolo to enter the arena, a death silence erupt suddenly. Everyone was looking at one person in particular that just made her entrance in the stade. This person of course was Maria Posada the two boys childhood love. Her face was hidden by a wood fan, but event without the possibility to see it, it was really evident that she had grown up to be a really pretty woman. That fact of course making every people in the little village starting to talk and agitate themself, cuz the jewel of their town was back. The brown air lady slowly walk her way to the place she was supposed to sit just beside joaquin. When she finally arrive, and sit herself  she put down her fan revealing her face and saying hi to Joaquin. Her beauty was making everyone impressed cuz they haven't seen her in age and this fact not passing incognito to a certain god of death. His mouth was open in pure suprise by the beauty of the girl and his eyes fixed right at her like she was the most beautiful women on heart... However, his state was cut of hard soon enough by la Muerte just beside him cuz she gave him a slap that manifest itself by a handful of Marigold petal. On her face it was clear that something was wrong and even if she tried to hide it by turning her face to the other side, the king of the souls notice it.

Why was this slap for?

He said asking La Muerte that was visibly furious for something that the tar gods wasn't understanding yet.
The only answer he receive from her was a groan and herself desapearing in a bunch of orange and yellow Marigold petals and buds.

What have i done again...

After those words, Xibalba hurry after her, following the directions the marigold petal had take when his wife left. After some research, the tar god finally find the candy goddess. She was standing in an other place more hidden in the higher of the stade her look a little bit uneasy. Something was definitely wrong. Actually if the black and grey man wasn't sure yet he certainly was convinced now that he saw la Muerte roll her eyes at him when he appear in front of her.

Muertita, what did I make this time to deserved your anger...

La Muerte in vain at this question try to look at anything else but his husband a little bit ashamed of the real reason why she was mad. The goddess wasn't really willing to tell him that she was mad cuz he look at an other woman than her in amazement.
Cuz yes she was jealous!
Honestly she had thought that only her could make Xibalba have this look on her but we'll this wasn't totally true apparently.

The god of the land of the forgotten was now looking at his wife with an interrogation look on his face, waiting for an answer. However, the one he receive some time after was clearly not what was bortering her. He was sure of it, so slowly, he get closer to her trying to get her to look at him by putting one of his hand under her chin and lifting it gently. When that was done la Muerte bite her lips and look at the god in front of her.

The tar god after this take her hand and kiss it. Making the woman of his affection blush a little bit.

Ay Balby ... I just.. I didn't like the way you look at Maria a little bit earlier. It make me feel angry... And sad.

The sugar goddess after her word separate herself from her lover and turn her back to him ashamed. Her cheek were now bight red and her breath accelerated. All of this was making her feel sooo stupid.

As for Xibalba his mouth was slightly open by suprise and he had stop moving for a little time. An idea was just making his way in his mind and this one was making him smirk a little bit.

La Muerte at this question from her husband chuckle a little bit putting her little sugar hand on her face to cover her embarrassment. During this, Xibalba still with a little smirk on is lips slowly made his way behind her, and circle his arm around her petite waist resulting of her turning in front of him still not confortable with her own jealousy. A cute smile appear on her little bud red lips that she bite. Her eyes that were on the ground slowly making their way on his.

Honestly...yes I am..., Balby your my husband and even if it suprise you I do really love you a lot and i don't like when you look at an other woman like she was the most beautiful thing you ever see. Especially if normally you use to look at me like this.

Xibalba at the word his wife just say was stunned. La Muerte wasn't the type of women to actually say openly that she was jealous especially to his husband wich was why he wasn't sure how to react to this revelation.

However, when the king of soul saw a little tears drop falling from la Muerte eyes he felt so bad about the reaction he had earlier.

The sugar skull, at the dark god word, gently moved closer to Xibalba, leaning her frail body against his fluorescent armor.

The contact of the man she love, after a little time was making the sadness and shame she was feeling less oppressing for her.

During this moment, the tar god which was hugging his wife back came to tell her something after kissing her cheek lovingly.

The Queen after Xibalba speech look him right in the eyes with an expression of pure love. He always have been good with words and always was an incorigible romantic and we'll this was why she love him.

His name out of her lips was the only thing the green and black god remembered before his wife lips where on his own in a pure and delicious kiss. Ass always her touch making him melt like hot tar which make the candy skull laugh a little bit during their kiss.
