I walked through the empty halls of my school towards my first lesson, History. Here's a little tip if its your first day be a bit late to the class, it gives you the dramatic entrance you deserve. Anyway I strutted into the class and stopped at the front. "Ah class this is our new student Y/N Gilbert." Mr Saltzman said to his class. I scanned the room and saw, Bonnie, Elena and Stefan. "Well Sir, i'm not exactly new i'm just... a return student. I guess you could say" I told him.     "Well alright then. I'm your teacher Alaric Saltzman please take a seat next to.... Ah Mr Salvatore has an empty seat. Mr Salvatore please raise your hand." I walked over to Stefan as he raised his hand. I slid into the empty seat beside him.

~Stefan's POV~

I watched as she walked over and slid into the spare seat beside me. I gave her a small smile that she quickly returned. She was so perfect. So breathtakingly gorgeous and so happy. I wanted to hug her. To kiss her even. But I can't. Besides she doesn't know about the mate bond and it would startle her away.

~Time skip to end of school at the grill~

Me, Damon, Klaus, Elijah and Kol all sat at the bar discussing our mate. It was mainly me getting grilled with questions because I was the one that spent the whole day with her. Then the door opened and her scent of Vanilla and Lavender filled the room. We looked up to see her squeal and ran at someone.

~Your POV~

I walked into the grill and saw my best friend of all time Caroline a squealed and ran to her. I jumped onto her and hugged her.

"I MISSED YOU SO MUCH CARE-BEAR" I practically yelled into her shoulder. She hugged me back and said "I missed you to Shorty" I giggled at my nickname. It was true though I was quite small for my age. I got off her and sat in the booth. Around an hour later and we had both caught each other up on our lives. We went outside and I hopped onto my bike and began trying to persuade Caroline to get on the back of it it took at least 10 minuets but she was finally on and I took off to her house. Around halfway there she got a call telling us to come to the boarding house. So i turned my bike around and followed Care's directions.

10 minutes later and we were walking through he Salvatore's front door and entering their parlour. We headed into the room and saw Elena, Bonnie, Stefan, Damon and 3 other guys all sat on the couches. We went over to sit with Bonnie and Elena. Care sat and i flopped upside down onto it. "Soooooooooooo whats up?" I inquired.
